I always thought this was a dialogue based manga, and it would be a dialogue based anime. There is action, but i've seen no indication that it would be a full blown typical shounen battle type thing.

That actually is one part I find rather exciting, how both sides use threats and misconceptions against each other. Shirodaira has always been an writer that portray the battles in words and logic instead of actions. The long dialogue will only be a problem if this is an action based show, which this show is not.

Of course...judging from the first ep title...there's the possibility they may try to force all that into two episodes....with probably rather disastrous results

Mahiro actually sounds really really good. Such a relief!!!
On the other hand, Hakaze doesn't sound very stable.

Someone mentioned that the early screening for episode 1 yesterday, Koyama mentioned that it was 2-cour. There is no confirmation, so it should be treated as a rumor for now.

Impressions seem pretty strong, but that's to be expected since the people who attend these events are usually already fans of the property. The production values are apparently pretty high, with great animation and solid action. But that's pretty much what everyone already expected so...
