get Daemon Tools and "mount" the .cue files into the virtual drive.
then try running the videos from the virtual drive.

Download the VLC player and install it. All the necessary codecs are integrated to VLC, so you can just install it and play your files without installing any additional codecs. It's the first suggested player in the Media Configuration Guide. Make sure you uninstall all the codecs and filters before you install VLC.

There are like 10 threads about mkv, but nevermind ^_^
Copy + Paste action!

In case this does not work, here is what I did to enable playback of mkv:

Oooooookay!

Step1: Uninstall all of your codecs
Step2: Go here and download ffdshow-alpha
Step3: Install the mkv codec.
Step4: Playback with Medial Player Classic (mkv files) or other players (other files than mkv)
Step5: Have fun

Boy I hate to make you look bad, but looking at the errors, it seems the problem doesnt have anything to do with the video or splitter. I could be wrong, so try _Sin_'s advice anyway.

In my opinion, it seems your just missing the appropriate audio codec(s) for the two audio steams included.

Since it's an .mkv file, we cant use GSpot, but VitualDubMod should help us out.

Download and unzip it from sourceforge.net:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/v...e.zip?download

Run the program, and choose "Open" from the File Menu. Open the video file you wish to play. From the Streams Menu choose "Stream List". A window will appear with more steams than are shown below (I dont have any MKV files handy):

You can see that the type of audio file is listed in brackets. Now all you need to do is download and install the appropriate codec for that particular audio type. If you need any help, just post a picture of this window.
