I am watching it, it's just well... there's very little things to talk about. And very few people to talk with about.

It's kind of disappointing Sander's pep talk went straight to 'money and fame.' Then again, Goro did come across as being strange. But it's not something you'd tell anyone 'guys, I lost my A-game simply because the player I was chasing for retired.' If everyone who's chased after a legend falls to a slump simply because the legend retired or is no longer playing, the world would be full of them.

For Goro, he had managed to achieve nearly all that drove him, except that he gave up the home run to Joe Gibson Jr to lose the final for Japan. His recovery during the downtime made him lose his edge and he has to find it again. I don't think it's as simple as losing his A-game because the player he was chasing has retired but there is a hint of it. Even in real life, there are some people wo are driven by another as their natural opponent and vice versa that both sides need each other to continue driving themselves. The ending of the episode and the next episode preview hints as much.

The new episode was great,aldo i can't wait until we see goro the power pitcher back

Kinda sad for Joe Gibson to go back from retirement and getting cleaned after the first inning.
Loved the bit of batting action from Goro,been a while.

Btw,Major sure did refire my interest in baseball,when i was younger i was watching baseball alot but then it kinda faded.
But now i watch baseball actively again

Really must take a cold, cold heart not to get at least a little thrill watching vintage Goro in action. One of the most GAR characters in manga/anime history. Although 98 MPH from Gibson was pretty unrealistic.

Finally some focus on the gang back home next week - it'll be nice to see the Shimizu sibs again.

I've seen it subbed from episodes 1-9, unless it's suddenly been dropped in the last week or so i'd have to go with a yes it is being done.

Man, watching ep 10 totally makes me feel bad for Shimizu for being in love with Goro. She's always the one to sacrifice herself for him. Due to being spoiled, I know what happens down the road, but I still feel bad for her. Goro's first love is baseball afterall.

Haha, the only thing that has the slightest chance of taking away that #1 spot in his heart is having a kid of his own.

When I thought that the development was predictable Spoiler: on the thing that Gibson was doing for him and JR, Goro went ahead and said to Gibson precisely what was on my mind. And Gibson gave Goro just the opposite answer that one would expect. Man, when you expect things to happen orderly in this series, they just don't happen like what you had anticipated. The episode had a very strong moment which didn't had the emphasis that it needed, when Goro does a Home Run out of Gibson. We have been waiting YEARS for that, and it's done as a simple scene like some other average scenes. Sure it was done sli8ghtly different but the Gibson issue shadowed that action. Well, I believe not even Goro thought about that Home Run as a revenge for his father too anyway. Interesting that they pointed out that Goro still isn't in top shape and keeps having mixed results, still good results for a Rookie but far from his brilliance, but in the preview of the next episode I they showed that it'll not be the case any longer. __________________ Old School Anime Club

I dont think he wanted to hit a homerun on Gibson whe he was pitching so bad,he even said it himself,he shouldnt have come back according to him

He does have a sort of plan going on there, I'm sure about it. But it looks like a very strange plan from what we have seen. __________________ Old School Anime Club
