Chaos;child will get anime

In the psycho-suspense story, after a magnitude-7.8 earthquake hits Tokyo's Shibuya ward on November 6, 2009, a black fire spreads and causes mass panic on the day of the earthquake. The sudden disaster that becomes known as the "Shibuya Earthquake" kills 3,851 people and injures 30,927 more.

The game is set in a reconstructed Shibuya district in October 2015. A string of mysterious deaths occurs in Shibuya amidst the reconstruction. People begin to take notice as the strange events start on the same day that chaos broke out in Shibuya with a certain incident five years earlier. The events are called the "Return of the New Generation Madness."

It's looke like just announced Steins;Gate zero also will get anime series

Steins;Gate Zero will be a new game of the popular visual novel series. It’s not a reboot, but an actual sequel of the first game.

A new anime series for Steins;Gate Zero was also mentioned.

As far as I understand Chaos;Child just seems to take place in the same world/universe all the other ; games like Steins;Gate ect.

Asaka Morio back to directing anime at madhouse this year, and considering so many happening on this year, it's not impossible if Madhouse and NTV-Vap will announce the 3rd season.

Well, Asaka Morio is busy for a while, but I suppose if they're announcing for fall or winter it's possible. I'd just as soon not see the series continue if he's not directing.

What else could it be? Maybe Suetsugu-sensei is ending the manga (which I've kind of been expecting to happen pretty soon). Of course, that was also when I thought they might choose to continue the anime, since they'll be able to finish it.
