I read this manga because I love anime. I'm disappointed that manga is mainly for comedy and not as dark as in anime. Yomi is the only one I care in this series. I will probably hate it if she has to die again. But due to the recent incident with Nori, I think that it's OK even if she die again. At least she is not lonely anymore. The author must definitely plan about this. IMO
Kagura in anime is very strong. That's why I feel Kensuke is too weak and it's such a waste to give him Michael 12th.

Okay, i don't understand the ending. Hopefully with the series finish, they start making S2 of the Ga-Rei anime. I hope they remakes the plot-line of the manga into something better like.... a yuri end!

I remember reading it in here once, but I don't think this series deserves a season 2 of an anime. The Yomi and Kagura dynamic was why Zero was successful; and while they still have a little bit of that to play with in the manga's first arc, I don't see that plot being as unique/mature/dark/awesome as Zero's story. Besdies, AIC has better stuff to animate like Strike Witches 2.

I'm lost with the ending... are all ghosts goodies now?
Did Yomi finally die, I mean fo real, and is at peace? And had returned the body to original user? If there is season 2 anime, I do hope it will be slightly changed. For the biggest part of manga it looked like Kagura doesn't give a damn about Yomi anymore, main reason why I never read it properly. Yomi and whole Yomi/Kagura dynamic in Zero was the main reason why I decided to take a look at manga.

Anyway, it was a decent ride. Yomi unfortunately did not live, but she saved Kagura and the world(at least for a time, like Tochigami said its up to future generations how things pan out. Hopefully the world of exorcists changes after this incident.). So I'm happy Yomi is at last laid to rest. Izuna....;_; Great that Izumi got her body back. Kensuke/Kagura 4eva! I'll give this a 7-7.5/10. |

Still hate the way Yomi's past was put in manga, it was a poor work... you can't really get attached to whole Yomi/Kagura thing like that.

Chapter 38 was probably where Segawa started playing catch-up in an attempt to close the gap in quality. The chapter composition feels eerily close to the anime. Heck, the entire last half of the following chapter was Zero cameos. I kinda feel bad thinking that Segawa may have felt some pressure about this - there's no doubt Segawa put his heart and soul into this project from beginning to end regardless of the anime.
