Nanoha said that they failed the test, because they put themselves into too much danger completing it, and lack of information gathering I think? (houkoku furyou) I assume it has to do with their crazy charge into the barriers at the end. She does say though, that there isn't any question as to their skill/power levels. "Those that can't keep their own partner safe, won't be able to protect anyone."
Next part I'm not entirely sure on as I don't want to spend the time on it, but the recommendations let them do something 3 days from now. I believe they are both given special permission to train at the main office, despite failing the exam is what it is. So starting next week they will have a whole new set of strict sempai's to meet she says. Then they get offered a spot in Mobile Group 6 of course. So apparently Teana and Subaru are still Rank-C mages then, but their actual power level is around Rank-B. Last edited by JediNight; 2007-04-10 at 14:47. |

In any case, I remember reading somewhere that the mage ranks in Nanoha goes between F and SSS. I forgot where I read that though. |

I took it more as, the device knows their master well enough to predict what they want to do, or there is a mental link that lets them sense what action the master wants to take. At any rate, I'm sure the device only readies the spell, and it's still up to the master to mentally use it.

I thought the episode was quite solid, if not terribly flashy and dramatic. I did enjoy the airport disaster flashback. I winced a bit when Fate blasted through the wall.
I kept picturing, " oops, my bad, looks like I wasted some civs. " I have to agree that Hayate's transformation in mid-run was damn cool . Finally, a Mahou Shoujo show that doesn't interrupt the action to show a stock footage transform sequence Points also for Carol _not_ going off into a hissy fit for Erio's slip-of-the-hands, after he saved her from a nasty spill. Minus a bit for Carol's ditziness. I do hope that Friedrich's usefullness is > being a kawaii creature for the show. I'm half cringing/half laughing at Rein's appearrances though. I mean, does she _really_ fill out her role as a _Seargeant Major_? Grizzled, weatherbeaten veteran she is not. I mean, what Sergeant (Major) would be caught going "Wai! Wai! " o.o Afterall, a noncoms supposed to be the backbone of a troop, providing the breadth of experience and confidence that keeps the troops on their toes. Rein's still learning on the job, as it were. I'll have to wait for a fansub, before I get any of the dialogue. I'm looking forward to Subaru and Teeana's, and Nanoha and Fate's discussions. Code:
Looks like the official inspection of the unit is up next time- why are Carol and Erio standing next to the cooks!? |

Remember how bardiche detected Arisa and Suzuka in A's ? They were a few blocks away, yet Bardiche spotted them. |

About Rein and Hayate: Hayate's book is the Tome of the Night Sky, while Rein's is the Book of Heavens. Besides, being SS or S+ doesn't affect the three girls' friendship. My thoughts on Elio:
Elio: Chrono nii-san. I'm home. Chrono: Hi Elio. How was your day? Elio: Chrono nii-san remember that trick you taught me? Chrono: The Sonic Move one? Elio: Yeah that one. I tried it out today Chrono: So? How was it? Elio (thumbs up): It worked. Chrono: See? I told you it would Fate suddenly arrives in time to listen to the last part Fate: Onii-sama.... Chrono: Ah, Fate! Don't sneak up on me! Fate: Elio go to your room. Elio: But Fate nee-san Fate puts on a really scary face Fate: Eliooooooo...... *Runs faster than the wind and locks the door in his room once there* Turns to Chrono Fate: So Onii-sama? Chrono (thinking): Bad, bad, extremely bad. The only times she calls me Onii-sama is when she's about to skin me . Chrono: W-w-what F-F-Fate? Fate: Come with me, Onii-sama. I'll leave the rest to your imaginations |

Yeah... Me, Skane and LoweGear already explored this With just one minor problem... 'Sonic Move' is Fate's move, not Chrono's ... As for my imagination... Quote:

Well, that might be true, but I'm inclined to believe that it's an upgraded version of her Sonic Form...
... One where she doesn't have to shed any clothings to gain speed. It's practically "Shunpo"
