Koyomi doesn't actually "deal" with Kaii in the Nise novels. In Nise 1 Karen is poisoned, but the poison only lasts 3 days. Koyomi does get some info on the Kaii from Shinobu and makes it so that Karen doesn't suffer as much though. Oshino had been lecturing about Kaii to her for the last few months, probably in preparation for when he finally left. Nise two is different in that the antagonist isn't the Kaii.

After Bakemonogatari, Hitagi enlists the help of Hanekawa to try to be "normal" again. That is, she wanted to be able to interact with people without being abrasive and violent. It must have been pretty damned hard for her to hold herself back because when she held Koyomi captive, she really tormented him. Since Hanekawa was helping her, Hitagi had to follow her orders so she was like her master. Well, despite all this help from Hanekawa, she wasn't able to make any progress.

It wasn't until she confronted the first of the five conmen that defrauded her family that she was able heal. Just so that you know, Kaiki was pretty scary. He was in the same occult club that Oshino was in when they were in college, but despite being able manipulate Kaii, he doesn't actually believe in them. He did more than just defraud Hitagi's family though, he also pushed for her parents to get divorced so Hitagi sees him as the one who stole her happiness even though she realizes that her parents would probably have gotten divorced eventually anyway. Kaiki is incredibly manipulative and can read people's insecurities very easily. It took a huge amount of courage for Hitagi to be able to confront him. Hitagi told Koyomi that she wanted to confront Kaiki so that she could stop being shackled by her past and move forward. After she confronts Kaiki, she is able to be open with with people, even more so than when she was in junior high according to both Kanbaru and Hanekawa. She had kept the same hairstyle since grade school because her mom had told her that it suited her, but it was just something else that was binding her to her past so she changed it. She says that if someone who has been disappointed in love can get their hair cut, then someone who has found love can have it cut as well.

Since I'm tied up, I thought that Senjougahara would naturally let me drink, but Senjougahara brought the mouth of the bottle almost to my lips only to pull it away.

What is she trying to do, I wonder. There has to be a reason that she's doing this. Even drinking straight from the bottle Senjougahara doesn't look vulgar at all. On the contrary, she is quite elegant.

"What is with the hunger in your face? I never said that I would give you any, right?"

So in this context, it means that you purposely bought the mineral water drink in front of me as I suffer from thirst.

I'm now seeing Hitagi in a new light now thanks to these....I'm now starting to agree with Zetsubo.I mean HItagi may have problems expressing her emotions, but to actually do that....I'm getting a nosebleed just by remembering it (lol).

After watching episode 12, I realized something. Even though Senjougahara calls Araragi "her prince that would come and rescue her", Araragi has mostly been the one that ends up being saved in the end.

-Mayoi arc: Senjougahara saves him from being lost, per-se
-Kanbaru arc: Senjougahara saves him from being beaten to death
-Nadeko arc: Kanbaru saves him from being bitten to death
-Koyomi arc: Tsubasa and Ooshino saves him from killing Kiss-shot, per-se

You have to remember that she was scared to death of Kaiki doing something to Koyomi so locking him up was the only way she could think of to keep him safe. It just so happens that she was under a lot of strain from following Hanekawa's regimen so decided to torment him a little.

She doesn't say, but Koyomi commented that Karen told him him how it's really hard to knock someone out with one blow so he's pretty impressed. Hitagi replies that it wasn't one blow. He didn't seem to want to lose consciousness so she hit him about 20 times.

She was really really in bad mood maybe she was on her period...

I sincerely hope that after she'll apologise on her kneels...(or at least offer her body they haven't sex, have they?) Anyway if after this she want to change so much, she was really sorry. Even if I haven't read the novel maybe I can understand this developemant... The first (e I hope the last) big fight between hitagi and koyomi was necessary.
