NOOOOOO takamura..... ZOMG if he loses I will cry. and he didn't look as epic as before, kinda looked like miyata with takamura's head on top which is a disservice to the man's man.

taka wil not loose he cant loose and if he were to loose it would be the worst match in the manga. the outcome of the match aside now that taka has found the culprit to his lost audience what will he do?

To bad here Takamura still needs to land something powerful on his opponent to KO him.

holy shlt . . is this a turning point for takamura? his first loss?

i guess takamura had been too invulerable for quite sometime. maybe its time for him to lose to a crappy opponent. and maybe finally a real sunday punch would be coming after his 1 loss, since almost everyone except itagaki had one

When I started reading Ippo back in 2003, I never, ever imagined I'd get to the point where I was criticizing the series more often than I was praising it. I guess nothing lasts for ever.

Ippo Vs RBJ = Not gonna happen.

Sendo? Good question!

But the next fight is Mashiba's, right? Ippo promised to go cheer for him with Kumi so we might get to see a bit of that. And then maybe Ippo will think watching Miyata's match gave him courage and he'll finally tell Kumi he loves her... yeah, I'm dreaming.

egh thats how i thought the fight would end with one hit

i wouldnt mind a mashiba fight right now a good blood match is just what the series needs

side note remember when Sawamura won due to mashiba beating him up without the refs permission how after "winning" he went on a bike ride then got himslef on an accident?

I like how Morikawa makes some unlikeable characters likeable. When Mashiba first showed up I hated him. Then when Sawamura first showed up, I HATED him! Turnarounds like that are why I just can't stop reading this manga.

I think what's up next is the Class A Tournament for Itagaki (and Aoki and Kimura). Feels like it was YEARS ago when that was announced!

Remember the "Battle of the Speedsters" preview? But of course Itagaki will win with his haxxed skillz... o_0

Well Mr.Sankaguchi is one torn out of Miyata's boxing career thanks indirectly to Takamura.

I just hope Vorg and RBJ gets back again sometime soon in the ring.

I guess popular characters get more air time like Miyata and Sendo. Takamura seems to be dropping off the charts he's getting fodder opponents.

You can still have a good match against a fodder opponent. Ippo vs. Karasawa for example.

i for one dont mind taka getting less ring time since i much rather read a few exceptional fights than a bunch of so so fights.with him i expect the fights to be something else hes the only character whose fights i think have to be good not funny or miracle victory dragged fights but good unless hes fighting to defend then i expect a chapter fight just to see his superiority.
