I need a bit of help with this one. Sort of. This a "choose an ending" story, so I'll post the first part and then you choose how it should end. For the sake of my eyes and gnat-like attention span, make your choices LARGE, BOLD, and FABULOUS.

Spoiler for The Set-Up:

Nanoha’s eyes followed the green light, but her unfocused pupils gave away her inattention. The high whine and rumble of the copier machine filled the office area with mundane white noise which matched the dull, white walls of headquarters. The machine beeped that it had finished, and the brunette groaned as she fed another stack of forms into the feeder of the bulky machine.

She was adjusting one of her many piles of copied triplicates on the office workbench when a group of young officers in crisp uniforms passed by her without batting an eye. She blew her long bangs out of her face as she shifted a smaller pile into her briefcase. Her lip curled up into a sardonic smirk while she remembered who those officers were. They had requested to watch her morning exercises yesterday and had gasped in awe as they studied her maneuvers, yet they didn’t recognize her outside of her element.

‘Nobody’s impressed with paperwork,’ thought Nanoha as she longed to relieve her boredom. Her eyes returned to the pacing green light, and her mind went inside of herself to occupy the time. It was probably warm outside today. The rain was supposed to have cleared with low humidity- perfect flying weather. She rolled her neck back till if gave a small pop and rolled her head to the other side. Her eyes glanced at the clock, and she realized that in a few minutes most of headquarters would be empty. She sighed in frustration as she looked at the piles and tried to estimate how much longer she had to stay.

“If this spits out a page a second, then sixty pages would be a minute, multiplied by eight budget requests- AAAUGH!”

Nanoha jumped in surprised as she felt two strong arms encircle her waist, but the familiar scent and blond hair on her shoulder eased her fears.

“Still working on Hayate’s appropriations proposal?” Fate said softly while kissing Nanoha’s cheek in greeting. The blond squeezed Nanoha once more before releasing her and sitting on the workbench.

Nanoha nodded while her heartbeat returned to its normal rhythm, “Mind the piles, baby.”

“How did Hayate hoodwink you into this?”

“I offered,” Nanoha moaned, “I saw her down here prepping for the meeting, and I made the offer without thinking what that would entail.”

Fate chuckled in reply.

“How’d they do today?” Nanoha asked trying to change the subject to something more interesting.

“Fine,” smiled Fate, “You couldn’t ask for better weather. Light wind, sun, a little-“

“Stop!” the brunette yelled, “I get it! I get it!”

“How much longer?” Fate yawned.

“A couple more hours,” Nanoha frowned, “You’ve got to be exhausted. Go home, baby. I call you before I leave.”

“Nah,” Fate said while stretching her long arms, “Vivio’s at a sleepover. Can I help at all?”

“Not really. I’m only sending papers through.”

“Don’t need me to organize?”

“Nope. The machine does that.”

“Stupid machine,” Fate answered while giving the air a small kick, “I don’t want to go home to an empty house. I’ll be bored.”

“You’re going to be bored here too.”

The copier continued to whine and rumble as Nanoha stared into space and Fate waved to the departing staff as they left for home. The calls of “Bye! See you tomorrow!” faded as another hour ticked by, but the copier continued to churn.

“Hurry...up!” Nanoha yelled at the machine. The brunette tumbled backward and sat on Fate who was still propped on the workbench.

The blond’s arms instinctively embraced Nanoha’s warm body, and Nanoha snuggled against her in return.

“Fate?”

“Hmm?” the blond hummed in reply.

“Entertain me,” Nanoha said with a laugh.

Fate was silent for a few moments before standing up and scooping Nanoha into her arms.

“I was kidding!” Nanoha squawked in protest as she tried to escape Fate’s grasp.

“But I’m not,” came the sly reply.

The blond placed the shorter woman on top of the copier machine, and Nanoha felt the warm office appliance tremble beneath her. She tried to slide off of the copier, but Fate’s arms were on either side of her and blocked her way.

“So this is going to entertain me?” Nanoha said to Fate’s piercing stare.

“I don’t know about you, but I’ve always wanted to try this,” Fate answered with a suspicious smile.

“What are you-mmmmph!”

Fate’s warm lips silenced Nanoha in a deep and passionate kiss, and suddenly Nanoha understood Fate’s ambition.

“Baby! Not here!”

“Come on, honey,” Fate panted as she pressed herself against her lover, “No one’s here. We’ll be quick.”

“But-“ Nanoha tried to argue, but her lips kept seeking out Fate’s as her legs wrapped themselves around the blond’s torso. Her heels dug into Fate’s back while she felt two warm hands hike her skirt up to her hips and tug her panties to the side.

Caught between life and death, Nanoha has a discussion with someone who shouldn’t care.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXX

“… Who… are you?”

She says it softly, weakly, the words all broken and jumbled up; they leave her mouth slowly, in a faltering tone because really, she can’t feel her body at all. She can’t feel her arms or her legs, and she certainly can’t feel her lips. She doesn’t know how she’s talking or why, just that she’s lying on her back in a misty land and this tall woman sitting quietly beside her is her only companion.

When the stranger doesn’t reply she repeats her question, an edge of urgency in her voice now: “Who are you?” Somehow, she can’t fight the feeling that she must know who this person is, why she is here and what she wants.

Her life depends on it. Somehow, she knows it.

The stranger tilts her head slightly to look down at her, shifting her body slightly so that the staff she cradles rests against her shoulder, making her look like some kick-ass character from an internet RPG game. Long strands of dark green hair are blown by a wind Nanoha can’t see or feel, and her eyes narrow slightly as she meets the younger girl’s gaze.

Her eyes… they’re the same color as Fate-chan’s…

“Who I am is not important.” Her voice is low and smooth, like chocolate after it’s melted against a person’s tongue. It sends a shiver down Nanoha’s spine, and the woman looks away again, gazing out across the mist. Nanoha cannot bring herself to look away. She speaks again. “You’ll be dead soon, anyway, so even if I tell you who I am you won’t remember it.”

A surge of panic races through Nanoha.

“I’m… I’m dying?” Her voice comes out as a squeak, as a whisper; her eyes widen and her breathing hitches. “But… but I just… I was trying to protect Vita-chan, why am I—“

“You sustained a critical blow. It’s only a matter of time.” The dark-skinned woman shrugs and brushes a loose strand of dark green hair out of her eyes with a gloved hand. “Currently you’re in the Between. The place that exists after you live but before you die. So I suppose technically you aren’t dead. Yet.”

Yet.

“I’m… dying.” Nanoha says it again, weakly, and this time it isn’t a question. “I’m… going to… die.”

As the tremor enters her voice, the older woman looks at her briefly; her eyes soften slightly and her fingers tighten around her staff as it rests against her shoulder, but otherwise she doesn’t move.

Nanoha closes her eyes; acceptance is dull and painless. She isn’t hurting, so maybe dying won’t be so bad—

“You’ll be careful, right?” Worried eyes the color of burgundy meet Nanoha’s, and Fate blushes slightly at her friend’s smirk, looking away and shifting uncomfortably from foot to foot. “I mean, I’ll be studying to take my test, so I won’t be there if something… goes wrong…”

Nanoha grins and hugs the blonde, light and quick; she pulls back, and her eyes are gleaming. “I’ll be fine, Fate-chan. I’ll come back, I swear. Here.” She holds up her hand, pinky out. “I promise.”

Fate hesitates; her lips curve in a small smile before she hooks her pinky with Nanoha’s.

“It’s a promise, then.”

Nanoha’s eyes snap open.

“No!” Her panicked voice barely even stirs the stranger next to her. “I can’t die yet! I can’t! I promised Fate-chan I’d make it back!” She looks desperately at her companion, who appears unmoved by the younger girl’s fear. “I promised,” she repeats in an anguished whisper. “What kind of friend would I be if I broke my promise?”

A moment of silence; then:

“Why should I care?”

Nanoha’s heart clenches painfully in her chest, but she cannot bring herself to hate the older woman for her response; she is nothing more than an observer, kind enough to sit with her as she dies. She swallows slightly and looks away, up at the sky that is just as gray as the rest of the land. Tears prick at her eyes, and despite her will a few slip down her cheeks. She laughs hollowly.

“Nyahahaha… Fate-chan’s never going to forgive me for breaking my promise…”

For a few minutes the older woman looks at her quietly, studying the girl without saying a word. She sighs and looks away. “You’re wrong,” she murmurs. “Your friend… she loves you too much to hate you. She’ll forgive you. It might take time, but she’ll forgive you.”

Nanoha blinks several times and nods, exhaling shakily. “That’s good,” she whispers. “I couldn’t stand it if I made Fate-chan sad for a long time…”

Silence passes.

A gentle rustle of sound alerts Nanoha to the movement of her companion, but as she struggles to look in her direction a hand rests lightly on her forehead, pushing her back down. “Shhh,” the older woman soothes. “Don’t move.” She rests the orb placed on the top of her staff against Nanoha’s chest; it flashes garnet and begins to heat. “This will hurt a little, but once it’s over you’ll be back with your friends.”

Nanoha gasps slightly as her skin heats up beneath the touch of the orb; she squeezes her eyes shut against the light that is being emitted from the orb. Despite it, though, she cautiously cracks an eye open, looking at the older woman. Her eyes are narrow with concentration, her hair spilling over her shoulder like a waterfall. As pain pricks at her chest, she whimpers.

“Why… are you doing this?”

The tall woman looks at her briefly; she smiles.

“Because I care.”

There’s a brilliant flash of red, an explosion of pain in her chest, and Nanoha blacks out.

“… Nanoha?”

Nanoha blinks, grimacing slightly as the bright white hospital lights burn at her eyes; she lifts one hand groggily and blinks again, and her vision clears this time around. Slowly she lowers her hand and tilts her head to the side.

Blue eyes meet burgundy.

For a few minutes the two girls stare at each other, neither saying a word; after a moment Nanoha holds out her hand, pinky out, and smiles tiredly at Fate.

“I kept my promise, Fate-chan.”

A choked sob escapes Fate and she nods, hooking her pinky with Nanoha’s and pressing her forehead against their joined hands as her body shakes with tears. Nanoha closes her eyes and tugs Fate closer, pulling the blonde down into a gentle hug.

She feels a surge of warmth in her chest, but if fades away quickly.

Meioh Setsuna steps out of the portal, barely blinking as it closes behind her without a sound. She has dropped the guise of Sailor Pluto; she doesn’t need it anymore.

“I was wondering where you were.”

The green-haired woman isn’t surprised to see Minako there, playing with Hotaru’s Game Boy; the blonde grins up at her from her place on the couch and switches the game off, resting it on the table and standing as Setsuna walks to her. Setsuna surveys the girl for a moment and smirks as Minako steps close, lifting a hand to run it through long dark green strands. “For someone who just found their significant other coming back late for their date, you’re taking it rather well,” the older woman teases.

Minako shrugs and smiles, but it’s a gentle smile. “I knew you had a good reason, Sets-chan. You usually do.”

Setsuna gazes quietly at the younger girl for a moment before wrapping her arms around her waist, pulling her in tight and resting her forehead against her shoulder. Minako closes her eyes and accepts the embrace, gently returning the hug. “You’re tired,” she notes, feeling the way her body trembles.

“It’ll fade in a few minutes. I just need some rest. I don’t usually use time to reverse injuries.”

Minako giggles as Setsuna pulls back, and she leans up on her tiptoes to plant a light kiss on the taller woman’s lips. “Softie.”

Setsuna laughs softly. “It’s all your fault, you know.”

“Is it bad?”

Setsuna rests her cheek against Minako’s hair and closes her eyes, sighing softly in contentment.

“No. No, it isn’t.”

Can we vote for the Negima! ending instead, where a fighting tournament spontaneously breaks out, followed by an epic battle involving every conceivable cast member in two-second blinks of ridiculous action with slightly larger glimpses for the main character's harem/nakama, finishing up with a major throw-down between the main character and the major adversary who isn't really a true enemy?

Oh, wait, that was the end of StrikerS, wasn't it?

I strongly suspect that large chunks of Eva were plotted out by throwing darts at a board, so...no.

“Fine,” smiled Fate, “You couldn’t ask for better weather. Light wind, sun, a little-“

“Stop!” the brunette yelled, “I get it! I get it!”

“How much longer?” Fate yawned.

“A couple more hours,” Nanoha frowned, “You’ve got to be exhausted. Go home, baby. I call you before I leave.”

“Nah,” Fate said while stretching her long arms, “Vivio’s at a sleepover. Can I help at all?”

“Not really. I’m only sending papers through.”

“Don’t need me to organize?”

“Nope. The machine does that.”

“Stupid machine,” Fate answered while giving the air a small kick, “I don’t want to go home to an empty house. I’ll be bored.”

“You’re going to be bored here too.”

The copier continued to whine and rumble as Nanoha stared into space and Fate waved to the departing staff as they left for home. The calls of “Bye! See you tomorrow!” faded as another hour ticked by, but the copier continued to churn.

“Hurry...up!” Nanoha yelled at the machine. The brunette tumbled backward and sat on Fate who was still propped on the workbench.

The blond’s arms instinctively embraced Nanoha’s warm body, and Nanoha snuggled against her in return.

“Fate?”

“Hmm?” the blond hummed in reply.

“Entertain me,” Nanoha said with a laugh.

Fate was silent for a few moments before standing up and scooping Nanoha into her arms.

“I was kidding!” Nanoha squawked in protest as she tried to escape Fate’s grasp.

“But I’m not,” came the sly reply.

The blond placed the shorter woman on top of the copier machine, and Nanoha felt the warm office appliance tremble beneath her. She tried to slide off of the copier, but Fate’s arms were on either side of her and blocked her way.

“So this is going to entertain me?” Nanoha said to Fate’s piercing stare.

“I don’t know about you, but I’ve always wanted to try this,” Fate answered with a suspicious smile.

“What are you-mmmmph!”

Fate’s warm lips silenced Nanoha in a deep and passionate kiss, and suddenly Nanoha understood Fate’s ambition.

“Baby! Not here!”

“Come on, honey,” Fate panted as she pressed herself against her lover, “No one’s here. We’ll be quick.”

“But-“ Nanoha tried to argue, but her lips kept seeking out Fate’s as her legs wrapped themselves around the blond’s torso. Her heels dug into Fate’s back while she felt two warm hands hike her skirt up to her hips and tug her panties to the side.

There were no known Lost Logia being used for evil, no attacks from rogue groups or evil organizations, and no current missions for the mage. In other words it was a boring day of sitting at her desk doing paperwork.

"The day is almost over..." All she wanted to do right now was head home, kick off her shoes and hear about her daughter's day at school. At the same time she was also hoping for a trouble free day with her daughter. Sometimes Vivio was more to handle than the Cradle at times. As she strolled down one of the many hallways a thought came to her mind. "I wonder what Fate-chan is doing now?"

The Enforcer had returned the previous day from another mission. She wasn't quite sure on the details but it seemed like it was a peacekeeping assignment on an Administered World. Making her way through the building she soon arrived in front of the blond's office door. A press of a button parted the door and granted her access to the small room.

"Hm?" Fate remarked, looking up from her monitor. "Oh, Nanoha. What can I do for you?" Rather than answering, her fellow mage hunched over the edge of her desk, resting her head on its cool surface. "Bored I take it?"

"I hate paperwork..."

A giggle was given as a response to the woman's plight. "It can't be helped. Paperwork makes the world go 'round."

"Yea, yea." She turned her head to face her friend. "What's that?"

Following her line of sight, Fate gave an awkward smile. "Um...work?"

Nanoha pushed herself back up and walked around the desk to get a better look. "And here I thought you'd be hard at work. Really, Fate-chan." She took a closer look at the open window, reading the title to herself, "You might be a Japanese superhero if...?"

"I got forwarded this. It looked interesting so I figured I would take a short break from work. No harm in that, right?"

"Uh, huh..." She could still remember that time she caught her playing Bejeweled rather than being 'hard at work on a mission report' like she had claimed. "So what is this?"

Fate centered the monitor. "It's one of those things that you compare yourself to a list to see how many characteristics you match. In this case it's a Japanese superhero."

"I see..." Her eyes scanned over the list. "So are you a Japanese superhero?"

"I don't know. I hadn't really read over it before you came in."

"Well let's take a look..."

-you feel a strong desire to pose and shout your name in battle.

A giggle came from Nanoha as she read over this. "I think Hayate's Knights would fit this, don't you think?"

"They were pretty enthusiastic about it when we first encountered them, weren't they?"

My god, my progress in writing my fanfic is extremely slow T-T. Anyway, here's the continuation of Chapter 3.

Spoiler for Preparations:

Meanwhile, in Fenice City, a day had already passed since Asclei and Lanos’ encounter with Fate and Teana.

“Asclei! Did you hear about the orders just now?” Lanos quickly asked after intruding into Asclei’s office.

“I just did.” Asclei responded while sitting in his chair with a cup in his hands.

Lanos walked slowly towards Asclei’s desk and remained standing.

“What do we do? From the image that we saw, that ship was without a doubt the Varuna.” Lanos asked while placing his hand on his chin.

“It would seem so.” Asclei nodded

“So, did you find out anything?” Asclei asked as he turned to the corner of the room near the bookshelves.



A black figure emerged from the shadow of the shelf. As the black cloth-like figure dissolve in midair, a black haired swordsman with blue eyes appeared and immediately knelt down.

“Asclei-sama, the TSAB craft, Varuna seemed to have ceased functioning several hours ago.”

Asclei crossed his arms and listened intently.

“After investigating the matter along with Drake and the others, we found out that the cause might have been a data chip that had a virus implanted in it as a security measure.”

“Ah…could it be” Lanos gasped

“Yeah. Those two did took a few things with them as evidences. That’s probably the cause…” Asclei scratched his cheek.

Asclei then looked towards the swordsman’s direction.

“Did you report this to Skryed?”

“Yes. He informed me which virus might have infected the systems of the ship. He also gave me instructions on how to deal with it.”

“I see. As a shadow crosser, you should be able to infiltrate the ship without being noticed. Will you take up the troublesome task, Shanon?” Asclei asked the swordsman.

“Yes, sir,” Shanon replied.

“I’ll explain the details of the plan right now so listen carefully.” Asclei stood up and a screen appeared in midair with detailed maps over the region where the Varuna was stranded.

Five minutes had passed and the mission briefing was over. Shanon disappeared in the shadows. Lanos in the other hand decided to stay at Asclei’s office until the start of the operation.

“Fifteen more minutes until the start of the operation.”

Lanos, who was sitting in the sofa in Asclei’s office stretched his arms. He seemed bored since he had nothing else to do.

“I might as well read something until then.”

Lanos opened his hand, a small sized tornado formed on top of his palms. As the tornado disappeared, a book suddenly appeared..

Asclei saw it and he was impressed. Lanos never had any interest in reading books before so it was a rare sight for him.

“For once, you are changing for the better.” Asclei smiled with his eyes closed and with those words on his mind.

Lanos then opened the book which revealed a hollow area and pulled out a magazine that was hidden in it.

As Lanos turned back to return to the sofa, Asclei caught a glimpse of the cover of the magazine.

“I take back what I just said!” Asclei thought to himself as he placed his hand on his forehead and shook his head.

He didn’t know if he should call Lanos stupid or just brilliant.

“What’s this? reading a lingerie magazine before a mission?” he asked.

“Well, I have a free time right now don’t I? I might as well decide which ones I should get.” Lanos responded with an innocent, angelic smile.

“Oh dear god!” Asclei gasped from what he just heard.

“I knew this was going to happen sooner or later!” Asclei turned his head away from Lanos’ direction and pretending to wipe his non-existent tears.

“Keep it down. I can’t think properly.”

Lanos crossed his arms while looking intently at the lingerie magazine that he laid down on the table.

“Just don’t wear it on top of your head while I’m around” Asclei exclaimed

“Oh no! Its not for me.” Lanos answered back.

“Its for Tea-chan!” Lanos declared with an angelic smile.

Lanos stood up and raised the magazine with both of his hands as if he was a priest that’s holding a bible during a mass.

“Eh?” Asclei was dumbfounded. Although his response was simple, his expression
shows just how greatly stupefied he was.

“Lanos…I’ll make sure to pick up your bones later on…”

“That’s just cold” Lanos cried out.

“I‘m just saying that you shouldn‘t get too excited over this. Those mages sees us as their enemies after all.” Asclei said as he stood up from his chair and refilled his cup with coffee.

As Asclei took sip of his drink, he noticed a change in Lanos’ expression.

“What is it? You seem kind of down this time.” The concerned Asclei asked.

“I was just thinking that it’d be nice if we could permanently leave our posts here in Aldia. That way, we can befriend the TSAB and fight side by side with Tea-chan and her comrades.” Lanos cried out laughingly.

“Don’t say that.” Asclei protested.

“We worked hard to reach our current positions to this day. Not to mention, we have sacrificed far too much to earn the king‘s trust. Furthermore, its far too early to abandon our tasks as spies for Albion since there are several things that needs to be investigated within the kingdom itself.”

Asclei looked like he recalled several detestable memories from his past. He gritted his teeth and closed his eyes.

“It’s not like I enjoy being a King’s Lance either. If I could leave immediately, I would do so; however, if we leave now, who would provide any classified information to our comrades?” Asclei clenched his fist.

Silence and a heavy atmosphere covered the room.

“I was just kidding. You’re way too serious sometimes,” Lanos said while forcing a laugh.

“I’m quite well aware that as members of the King’s Lance, we managed to get a hold of a lot of information that saved the lives of others including our Albion comrades.”

Lanos also recalled that because of them, Albion still exist.

All of a sudden, the two knights heard a knock in the door. A lower rank knight informed Asclei and Lanos that the operation will begin shortly. The two of them were to engage the enemy forces along with the several units assembled for the operation.

“Autoarms, armored vehicles, the ground forces, and Aldian knights…this is way too much for just a rescue mission,”

Lanos turned his head back at Asclei’s direction as if he was expecting an immediate
response from him.

“If the retrieval of the targets proves to be difficult, just destroy the entire ship…is what his highness is saying, huh?” Asclei uttered.

“We’ll proceed according to plan.“ Asclei said with sharp, cold eyes.

“Roger that,” Lanos responded.

Asclei made his way to the exit and Lanos followed him right after. The two knights that was guarding the room lowered their heads and wished their two commanders the best of luck in the battlefield.

Since Ch 3 is ridiculously long, I decided to break it apart for now. Anyway, the battles will be on the next part. =D

"Sounds like you, Fate-chan!"

"Hey! I did not have a nigh-pitched voice. And my Barrier Jacket was not that bad!"

Nanoha giggled. "Well I think we both fit here between Vivio and Erio and Caro. And maybe you, too."

"Mou..."

-you don't bleed when slashed by a sword - sparks fly from your body instead.

"Do barriers spark?"

"I'm not quite sure actually..."

-your adversaries all have impossibly long names like "Violent Evil Alien Ninja Jack Satan" or "Subterranean Fluorescent Kaiju King Kamasutrasaurus".

"Chalk up another one for the Wolkenritter."

"Don't forget the Mistress of the Night Sky, too."

-your presence leads indirectly to the death of every kindly old scientist within a 500 mile radius.

"Can't count this one since we try to use magic-damage only."

"Though if we didn't you and Hayate might count for this one."

"Hey!"

-you announce the name of every power or weapon you use (e.g., "Zowieman Spinning Super Strato Kick!").

"We can't help how the Devices are programmed..."

"Yea..."

-you discover the love of your life is (a) a servant of evil (b) a secret agent (c) an alien visitor (d) dead.

Fate grinned at her friend. "Oh this one is definitely for you~"

"Oh shush you. We're still just dating!"

"Suuurrreee you two are..."

-you belong to an elite agency dedicated to battling weird menaces which is staffed by only six people (huh?).

"Riot Force 6 was more than 6, right?"

"Pretty sure."

-you know more than one person whose name includes the word "guy".

"Do you know any, Fate-chan?"

"Nope."

-(females only) your costume comes equipped with superfluous earrings attached to the helmet and/or a skirt to go with your spandex.

"Your original Sonic Form."

"The top of your Barrier Jacket."

-you constantly feel the need to "power up" your arsenal (e.g., your "beam blaster" gets upgraded to "Ultimate Beam Bazooka").

"Well adding on Riot for the upgrade isn't much of a 'power up' name, is it?"

"You are way more guilty of this, miss Blaster 1, 2, and 3."

-you frequently talk to disembodied voices and no one questions your sanity (to your face).

"Well this one doesn't really count..."

"Lies. Remember when you first starting using telepathy?"

"What?! How do you know about that?"

"I've heard around..."

-you will use any word or phrase, no matter how ridiculous, as long as it is in English (e.g., "Nifty Buster Robo - Go!").

"Plasma Lancer: Phalanx Shift?"

"Divine Buster Extension?"

-you wear a blinking light on your chest and it is not because you are a moronic football fan trying to get on TV.

"Blinking light?"

Fate shrugged. "Got me."

-that mysterious cool character who keeps popping up turns out to be your long-lost _______________ (insert relative of choice).

"I got nothing. You?"

"Nope."

-you suspiciously eye any strangers you meet, figuring they're really monsters in disguise (and you're usually right).

"Well...maybe a few times when dealing with the Jewel Seeds."

"Oh?"

-you reason that any problems you have in your life are due to the diabolical machinations of your foes (and you're usually right).

"Technically I can blame the Jewel Seeds..."

"True."

-your name is "Hayata".

"Hayata?"

"I don't know. Though it does sound similar to Hayate..."

-having your own line of sausages sounds like a pretty neat idea.

"Sausages?"

"Who knows."

"Well that was the end of the list. So you think we are Japanese superheros?"

"Well, maybe." Fate tapped her finger on her chin. "Some definitely fit though it seems like you are more of one than I am."

"Oh haha. If anything we're more magical girls I would think."

"Last I recall magical girls didn't fire large, magical blasts."

"So you're saying we're super robots?"

"I dunno. I'm just saying..."

"Think we should forward this to Hayate-chan?"

"Nanoha, if Hayate were to read this she might have a sudden 'urge' to sew spandex outfits for everyone AND make us wear them."

"Good point. Sending to Hayate-chan not good."
