*sigh*
I'm not sure why do they bother trying to reincarnate a dead franchise. Even after they failed 2 times already to make it successful. The new designs makes me miss Tamers I might check one episode, just for the ''good old times'', but other than that, meh

For me Tamers >> Savers >> 1st, 2nd >> Frontier.
Savers finally got away from the incredibly skinny frames for the humans... Anyways, pretty interesting. But Tamers definitely felt the most interesting. The 1st season was great and the starting point, but the very end, with the big time skip, of the 2nd season was incredibly traumatic.................... Frontier... I never finished it. I wonder how it'll be this time... For first impressions, the digimon designs are not bringing hope. This series is pretty much dead too... To think how good it was doing in the past... Kind of like Blockbusters... Aah, the past...

Very good news, I'm excited for another season, I hope it follows in trend with Savers, aiming towards old school fans, as the main character looks like a Daisuke clone and we have Greymon. I've been a fan even before the existence of the first show.
When it comes to how I rank seasons, Adventure>Savers>Tamers>02>Frontier. Quote:

Really now? Are you saying this because they manage to throw out a new game every couple of years? That doesn't make it far from dead. It just means that whoever holds the rights think they can get some quick cash from a dead franchise, hoping that old fans of the show would pick up the games just for nostalgia.
After Tamers, the rights holders realised that they needed something different to help the show survive, and Frontier was made. It failed and Digimon stopped being a part of the televised medium, and tried its luck with the gaming one. It didn't do too well there. Eventually, Savers came along and looking at what happened with that one, it also failed to bring Digimon back. Now they are trying again, even though it failed already. This tells me that the rights holders are very stubborn or very desperate. Then again, with the current slump going on, I guess they looked at it and hoped to give another try because it was a safer bet than starting something new :/ Season Ranking: Tamers>>Savers>Adventure>Frontier>>Savers>>>>02

*Throws hands up in air*
Please no more of this over crashed crap. I weeped when they released iPod gate fighters WTF?! I drew the last straw on digimon season 3. A show loses it's usefulness when it becomes endless grind.
