At least Yozora's character background is interesting enough so that I can ignore the romance part, at least until the club members(minus Rika) all acknowledge themselves as friends.

I think in one of the afterwords the author said the story so far was just the prelude. This novel in my opinion will probably last at least to 15-20 volumes. Minimum.

True but that doesn't change the fact that she's pretty much in love with him. To be honest I'm hoping for a Rika end, I've always rooted for the underdogs in light novels. She's the one that sacrificed the most to make him happy and friend-zoned herself just so everyone can stop beating around bush and get to the hunting, I don't know why but she's my type.

The author never said that. The announcement that the story up until now was a long prologue was actually part of the written story itself. Do you understand?

Kodaka as the narrator made a statement within the story that the story up until now was a long prologue. People who are now spreading rumors like "Only 1/3 of the story has been written" are actually referring to a character within the story as the "source" while Hirasaki Yomi himself never said that.

Okay, so I'm a nobody. I just started looking back at Boku wa Tomodachi because of the new volume that came out recently. A few pages ago, people were saying there was some relationship between Kobato and Yozora. Did I severely miss something because I never noticed anything that happened between them. The only thing I recall was when Yozora made an argument for Kobato to be in the neighbors club

Long story short: Yozora stayed at the Hasegawa household for about two days due to reasons, and basically she became a temporary pet of Kobato.

Everyone is here discussing, Haganai volume 9 has been released, there are illustrations all over the place, and here I am, blissfully ignorant.

Anyway, you people probably discussed the subject at great lenghts already, but here are my impressions: seems like it will become a Hot Springs episode halfway through, and the fact that the Sudent Council will somehow get involved makes things all the more interesting (but seriously Kodaka, how many more girls to your harem before you are satisfied?

)

Can't wait to read this new volume

In the end Kobato will have a harem and her brother will still have no friends... She has Sena, Maria, Yozora and the rest are soon to be captured.

Even so, for better or worse, wouldn't Kodaka still have Rika? I mean, she is the very "first" friend he made after all in the previous chapter.
