Sometimes I wish I could understand raw and had better explanation skills, but may as well.

Okay so in this episode you have Kotono and Natsuki bowling. They meet a guy there. This guy turns out to be part of the villain group or at least helping them. He's shown an image of the three girls and recognizes them because he met them earlier.

In any case eventually the guy transforms into what I shall refer to as the Bowling Knight. Instead fo a bowling ball let's use a Spiked Mace. Well eventually the Kotono and Natsuki get pinned to the wall and in trouble. Kotono of course tries to reason with the guy (I think).

Misaki being smart knew to stay behind. After all the last person to join the battle has the highest chance of success. See watching random episodes of Sailor Moon is good training. Eventually thanks to being alerted by the pet bird, Misaki is ready to rescue them.

Interesting enoughly while Misaki gains a bow when transformed as this episode shows she'll still fight hand to hand on occasion. So she's got short and long range covered. In any case while she whacks the guy, Kotono and Natsuki are freed.

Misaki plans to finish the guy off, but Kotono asks for the guy to be spared. Cue judgment scene. From what I can tell the guy essentially reveals the location of their enemy. Ie the ones causing all the problems. So regardless of what one make thing of the bowling aspect some progress has definitely been made. Of course what they'll do with the info I'm not sure. The previews aren't much help to me.

the more i watch this series the more repetitive it seems to me ~ but looking at the end of ep 8 kotono and the others now know whos behind the attacks so hopefully things will spark off from there ~

I can't really deny that some aspects of the show are repetitive, but honestly over the years I've grown used to shows, games, etc being partially repetitive. Partially often being the key word. Although the fraction that's repetitive varies greatly as well. Still hopefully it won't be too long before they decide to investigate/attack the enemy's base.

hmm. i wonder how this show slipped through my fingers. loli girls with swords? thats like a dream match.

but i hear some mixed reviews about it. can a show where the main character looks like shinku fail? well it wouldnt be the first time konami released below mediocre fodder to cash in on something.

still im definately going to give this a look.

Ep 7

Nothing Special here, we just see in the begining the work of the Trio, the Emperor Wondering and about Prietress jealous and anxious(she's funny when she's angry ). Anyway, it's just like an ordinary Episode with nothing special... Kotono believe that Joshua will abandon her and Johan for a Woman, the usually girl's mind when they have one of her beloved parents (adopted parent for Kotono) who will have someone in his/her life and reunited as a family.
Well after a very Speed battle and Very Speed Henshin, nothing special to deal with it. Just in a Middle... Could be better...

Ep 8

Maybe this one is more interesting, After Bowling, Joy and Laughting. We know now how Emperor make fellow Slave of Card Using and how life changed for them... We don't know how Emperor is powerful but he continues to live. About The New Enemy, Starks (No, not the Forumist, i heard Starks from the Big Guy) is just a manipulate guy who just keep his promise by losing againt Emperor (man, Emperor make 300 Points O_o, and Starks 299. It's was short for this but now, The Trio learn that the HQ and everything's going on the Tower

Ep 9

By Trying to Sneaking inside to meet Emperor and make him pay for Starks cause, They trying to get information or help. Then, they will have the Help of the One of Old friend of the Detective (which is the Girl who's Joseph used to meet). Tentative was good but Meeting was bad... Anyway, it's the opportunity for Emperor to see The Judgement User. And the First Time we see the Power of Priestess. An Powerful Magician which is not a Healer but more an attacker who can manipulate Items... The Trio will be saved by the Medium Girl just for a Story for Weight and Mensuration :/. After all, this meeting was a Failure for the Trio but something good for Emperor

Ep 10

Spoiler:

The Trio is thinking about other things and Prietress want her revenge against Kotono. The Boy we have meet on the Ep 4 will return and regognize the Photo. He will not give any word for the enemy, he will take it from it and see what Kotono and Jugement Power can do. The perfect scene for this is a Beloved girl with glasses who's loved the Boy we have seen. This girl think that Kotono steal him from her and after a meeting with Emperor. She will have a Fake Power of Dancer (which is not represented as a Tarot Card).
After a Battle with Kotono (finish with Nothing) and some Funny things.
We know wait for what will happened.

Ep 7 was in the Middle, 8 good, 9 a little good and 10 in a middle.

well I got around to watching the show and I can see why alot of people dont like it.

I think this show is aimed at the under 15 crowd.
it has all the important elements of making a good show but it just doesnt come out right.
reminds me of that show steam detectives. all the right stuff in all the wrong places.

It's interesting... Just it's coming serious this time. I would appreciate more this episode if Johan, Joshua and Mizaki were not involved in Battle just for during the Battle... Not i like Kotono's suffering but experimented her for growing with anger... Anyway... It's was speed in the End... Thanks for the 3... The best of Master Card, Priestress is now Eliminated... (But i think Sophia will asking for Re-using her Card, will cause her Death Next Time). Johan will now, revealed his Origins and His Story... Finally... It's too long for wait for his Story and his reasons for Choosing Kotono, Natsuki and Mizaki...

Sophia's High Priestress form is rather strong. Ah lifting multiple random objects is fun. Given that the villain of episode 01 got a stronger form in episode 05, I now have to wonder what Sophia's second form will be like if she actually does manage to get one. Either way she's probably going to be even more determined next time. As for Johan let's hope he reveals plenty and doesn't play the "it's a secret" routine that some characters like to.

i feel sorry for the Priestress tbh...she clearly kicked kotono's ass but luk ran out on her at the end

it scared me to see Joshua getting his back hammered in by that bin...for i moment there i thought that it could have been the end for his spine O.o

and Johan...he clearly knows more that what he is letting on...and whats with those sparkles in the middle of the night? im glad to see the plot moving :3

Well, you certainly hit the nail on the head there.

Saint October is certainly turning out to be a bit of a surprise show. It started out looking like nothing apart from gothloli fanservice, but we've been hit with some fairly serious twists along the way. And after watching ep. 12, I knew we'd definitely stepped out of moe-comedy territory when Kotono's predicament reminded me of

Lelouch from Code GEASS. Both of them have just been slammed with a totally unexpected effect of their special powers, and someone's ended up dead as a result. It's the last comparison I'd ever have expected to be applicable to Saint October.

The animation in this episode looked unusually good; maybe they upped the budget in recognition of how important a turning point this episode is. Kotono starts off bursting with enthusiasm about how she's going to use her powers to save Euan and the world, brushing aside Joshua's misgivings. But when second-chance Sophia ends up diving in front of her beloved president to shield him from Judgement - disintegrating in the process - Kotono finally comes face-to-face with the realisation that her role is literally a matter of life and death.

By the end of the episode, as our heroines retreat in some disorder to the church, Kotono's in shock and emotionally falling apart in Joshua's arms... understandably, since Euan never told her she was signing up to hand out summary executions to unrepentant bad guys.

Both Shirololi and Akaloli won points for good tactical thinking. Natsuki knocked loose a tap to hose Sophia down with water and save Kotono, while Misaki covered their retreat from Reverse Company with a well-placed distraction shot into the ground. Ryouhei, on the other hand, showed an unusually spineless side as he obeyed orders to back off and leave Sophia to her fate.

Incidentally, Kotono maxed out the omega kawaii meter this episode not once, but twice: the first time when she was playacting "Judgement!" in front of Joshua, and then when she was complaining about Joshua to Misaki (complete with full-face closeup). Just in case we needed reminding that, at the end of the day, Saint October is Kotono's show.
