Wtf.
I had a look on the website, and everything in there ( or almost ) is cheaper than elsewhere. For ex. I had a look on Dengeki Festival which I'm interested in, and it was like ... well yeah, 20 bucks cheaper than in JList. Question is, is that site actually trustworthy ? It seems odd that the magazines and stuff there are even cheaper than in Amazon.co.jp ...

Ah, I got my Yui -school festival ver. by Movic/Kotobukiya the other day.
But my ardor for that series has faded... so I may be putting Mio and Yui in that line up for resale. I have the ALTER series completely obtained or pre-ordered and I have a decent Meido Mio from Uplark. I also have the complete Beach Queen series (but only with tanned Azusa)... but after looking over everything I may resell those as well. Its not that I don't like them -- its a matter of figure space management and the other series figures roaming the flat spaces of the house. Its interesting to watch myself, some figures are "forever" while others fade from my interest pretty quickly.

Then again, I always buy fan stuff for their utility rather than display value - like how I collect all of the music books and turned the omamori into a wind chime (minus the metal bars, they are hard to get standalone).

I want to get my friend a christmas present related to K-ON since I didn't get her anything but good wishes for the past two birthdays... She's a K-ON fan and I'm a broke kid lol. (I'll start saving up).
Any suggestions for something relatively cheap (<$40~) that I can get? I don't like the idea of getting a figurine... So I was thinking maybe the Azusa tea cup. |

However the figure is pretty damn good and the quality isn't that far at all behind the prototype. Getting the strap on and position the guitar was a bit of a struggle but it's there now and looking pretty snazzy on the desk.
