A big AMEN to that.

I wish they would hurry up and sub the latest episodes.

Ep 12 definitely was good, a fitting mid-series peak... but it really brought about more questions than answers, and I really had no idea what was going on in that little dream sequence thing I trust they'll eventually reveal more and more, although the next arc is Yin's so I don't know how much we'll see out of that.

And as usual Hei was top-notch, damn he looked good in every single shot. Can't stand it. Stop being so cool!

Imouto: younger sister, as opposed to Otouto (younger brother).

The "imouto-type" was brilliantly parodied in Genshiken. You should really watch that episode (though, I forgot which one it was) if you want to understand why some people are going ga-ga over this kind of characters. 8)

It looks good!! and for sure Hei already has a legion of fan girls (like me jeje) because he is hot and sweet...
So, next arc will be for lolicons and bishoujo people, i guess that all us " the fan girls " will need to wait to see more of Hei focus story..maybe chapters 15, 16 .

Totally agree. Hei, you really love torturing us fangirl, don't you? Last night my friend and I rewatched some episodes. That was when we started to notice how SEDUCTIVE his cheeks are...
Spoiler:

Let's see, last week I spent A LOT downloading versions of HOWLING ringtone. Oh Haruhi, when my phone rings, I just don't want to pick up the call
And the fact that he is also an imouto-type just sky-rocketing his KAKKOI-ness (especially since I kinda have oniichan-complex ^^). Now, I'm expecting to see some nice HeixYin doujinshis at this Comike. Oh, HeixMisaki will also do,,,so cute!

episode 12 is nice, but confusing... and I actually like Nick over Hei in this episode the Nick-Hei pair looks very promising, the two biggest imouto-cons in the universe And the Gate can really manipulate reality in really weird ways :S

I'm not sure if next episode will be Yin's episode or the Detective's episode from the preview :S

No offense, but are you watching DTB for the story/characters or just the hot guys? Not that I don't like the hot guys too...anyway, ep 12 was very good. Always great to see a little bit more of Hei's past, and the appearance of amber was a very surprising moment, though, it had to happen sometime. Also, as of next week the OP and ED change, and that is always exciting. Seeing Yin before she became a doll will definitely be an interesting plot point for the series, as well as how she meet Hei and the rest. Can't wait for next thrusday :3.

Well I'm not a noir film buff nor a big detective story fan, but I enjoyed the style in ep 7-8 and what I think is a reference/parody of the classic detective story model. Nothing new, but Gai's a pretty likable character to me, he being a pretty intelligent detective who is down on his luck. As a fall guy and misfit, he is also fun to watch. And then there is his otaku sidekick that serves as a foil for him.

I have been thinking though, with Bones penchant for making original works, what if they decide to make a spinoff The Adventures of Matsukichi Kurasawa Gai?

Phew, at last finished the "Girl on a White Dress Stained with Blood" arc on episode 10.

What drove Alice to consume herself with madness? I guess Alice was tired throughout her entire lifetime on not to be allowed to be herself. Misaki taught her that one has to make his or her own reasons to make a choice.

I guess Alice was a lost child who may had believed that the world had misunderstood her. She wanted someone who will allow her to be herself.

At the end, I cannot feel but shaken for her death and for Misaki.
