Great episode! Finally at a faster pace like the earlier eps of this series. Those agile titans are terrifying in open ground D:
Great fight scenes. Female titan's actions are so complicated compared to Eren's titan, the Colossal titan and Armored Titan. I wonder why she hesitated to kill Armin and Jean but not Reiner? |

Dem production values, seriously probably best animated episode by far.
Great episode all round. Looks like Murphy law's is already in full effect for Scouts though, and they haven't even been out in the fields long. Reiner was pretty awesome here, but man did it look like he died back there. It's fairly weird that the Female Titan did not kill Armin too, then again she most likely didn't even see him (as Armin pointed out) a threat. Another interesting thing, is apparently Armin, Jean and Reiner all got mixed information concerning Eren's location... Last edited by Iron Maw; 2013-08-03 at 19:36. |

Wow, that was quite an awesome episode. With each the new recruits getting different information on where Eren was supposed to be, it seems like it was an attempt to figure out who the culprit/enemy might be. Depending on where the attack is headed, they could figure and limit the number of suspects.
As far as female titan is concerned, I'm becoming more and more convinced with my theory on who it is. The eyes really give it away, as well as the hair color and the fact that it is female. Furthermore, why did it leave Armin alive after seeing Armin? It could have easily killed Armin. Probably because it recognized Armin and probably has sympathy for him. Besides, she is too prominent in the intro and ending to just disappear. Now with Reiner, I really thought he died. I was, "No way! They killed one of the new recruits already?!!?" Then all of a sudden, he got out. Still, a large question remains. Why are titans trying to kill humans? What purpose does that achieve?

thundrakkon I am absolutely convinced it is the same character. I probably wouldn't have thought of it until Armin said it was human like Eren, but the features definitely give it away. Also the way they fight reminds me of that character too.

Holy crap, that sure as hell came out of nowhere. I was hoping this show would finally pick up now and return to its former awesomeness and its done exactly that. Excellent episode. I hope they won't disappoint us now because this just screams Titan vs Titan.

Ok, that was pretty damn good episode.
I'm gunna go out on a limb here and say Riener is the Armored Titan. Because: 1. For a split second you saw his cheek healing itself. Plus he never would've gotten out of it without that power. 2. His haircut and sort of husky/muscly build is similar to the Armored Titan's. Either way, I'm actually excited for next week. |

Was not expecting that line either. He and Pixis would get a long well together. |

That would explain so much. Such as why the two titans were killed by fellow soldiers and why the military police was so intent on getting hold of Eren. Still, the big question for me is whether she is doing this by choice or being forced into doing it. I liked her more than Mikasa and I would dislike it if she were to become a villain now. Either way I'm hoping for an Eren vs. Female Titan (I'm guessing it's Annie. It looks exactly like her) battle. |

oddly it's easy to recognize the "human into titan" (Eren example) It is through to their "eyes" and their structure is different from other titans that we can see so usual "female titan, the titan armor and colosal titan ".... maybe ... are "human into titan"
