Anime will only cover the first half of the game. No idea if that is an actual fine stopping point though. |

Solid first episode, the animation and character designs are good, the plot seems interesting running around the idea of what is the MC going to do in the future.
Kuroda is definelly a strong female character who has the lead in this series, her looks and voice are perfect in my opinion. On a side note the thighs fanservice in this series is damn good. Looking forward for more. |

Great characters. Bunta's fairly interesting with interestng friends who have even more interesting underclassmen. Seriously, this Bitch Queen dished out some solid advice, avoiding a ton of nasty tropes. A mix between Saekano and Tomodachi done right.

Is it just me or does Sayuki's voice sound like Yukino from Yahari? They don't share the same VA though.
It was alright, the premise reminds me Saekano. Surprised at how well the dialogues were delivered as I didn't have strong impressions of the show originally. Not bad but also not groundbreaking either.

I expected something really generic but I am pleasently surprised I got lots of entertainment out of it. The dialogues feel fresh and it's really nice to see Bunta interact with pretty much every character ever. lol Comedy is also neat... Bitch Queen, really? Just like Stark700 said, the last few minutes heavily reminded me of Saekano except that this time the girl is the freak who wants to make the game and she totally reminds me of Yukinon from SNAFU, haha.

Ep 01
Yeah, chalk me up among those who are pleasantly surprised by the first episode. It has an odd sort of air of ... erm ... simplicity and lack of pretention to it that is pleasant, low key and quietly humorous at the same time. I will definitely be checking out the next episode. Good first impression.

And that folks is how you do a introduction episode.
All the cast were given the show not tell treatment to a lessor or greater degree. Additionally rather that just say 'this is a show about making a game!', they showed all the MC's qualities that earned Sayuki attention, and had he drop her offer at the end so you could connect all the dots. This show looking like a session favourite for me already with it energy, witty dialogue and well though out script. |

So far, it's not bad.
The protagonist is pretty solid. A balanced guy who isn't too crazy in any respect. Just someone who doesn't really know what he wants to do and goes around helping out basically anyone who asks. Works himself hard, but without any real direction to it. Not sure too much about Kuroda yet. I mean, she's not bad or anything. Just not sure what I think about her character yet. In some ways a controlled person, though considering that day was basically a test maybe she'd just have to be. For some reason she doesn't leap out at me, but she's solid. I think they have a solid base to make this show work.

Definitely a set-up type episode, we don't find out what the series will be about until near the end. Done pretty well too, we got to knew the characters pretty well, especially the male lead who amazingly for this type of series isn't a total loser, but a capable, well adjusted guy who was simply still searching for some goal in life. The female lead too, while fitting the mysterious black haired loner girl archetype is pretty interesting and not nearly as abrasive as those types tend to be. Whatever this anime succeeds or fails depends on what will happen next, but the first episode alone got me hooked. Will follow.
