That makes Meer a poor fake compared to the real thing if we are also to get technical. Oh, and unlike Meer, FF does not running around and broadcasting himself as Char. He introduces himself as Full Frontal whenever he get the chance. It’s the paranoid Feddie, FF's boys in the Sleeves, Char admirers in Zeon, and some other people who seem to insist that he is the "real Char".

Then again, Full Frontal seems skeptical when it comes to himself being "a" Char.

Oh yeah, in ever meant that it was the same thing, just a similar thing regarding a person acting as another one in a gundam-verse.

Char on the other hand, as i said earlier is just an alias with a powerful history when it comes to Zeon, that's why i drew lines between Char and Lacus, Seeing how Lacus has a similar public image for Zaft which Meer/Durandal used to rally support. It doesnt matter if it's the "real" one as long as the people belive it

The same case with the previous line you quoted. Depending on his intention, Casval/Char can still say that to anyone. I mean, it’s wouldn’t be the first time he’s denying his own identity and pretend to be someone else. He already done it in Zeta by being Quattro (and even said outright that he’s not Char if my memory serves me right). But when Amuro temporarily joined AEUG, his cover was pretty much blown away.
