I've always found it odd that culinary manga is a pretty significant genre, yet it hardly ever gets animated. If SNS is what it takes to change that, I'm all for it. Now all we need is Takatsugi-san's Obento and What Did You Eat Yesterday?

I wonder how Okada's writing and Shinbou's directing go together. This is probably one of the more unique projects I've seen, especially for a Shaft show.

I think this will be even more obnoxious pairing then even OKada + Kawamori potentially. Tripping balls Okada comedy about cooking. Yeah... I think I'll be avoiding this one like the bubonic plague.

I don't think it is. While I appreciate her efforts on True Tears and some other works, there are varying opinions on others that have umm changed the view since 2008.

Shinbo doesn't even direct shows anymore, just sticks his "chief director" stamp on everything. Maybe it'll be Yukihiro Miyamoto, he hasn't done a TV series since Denpa Onna...

I agree that it's not really likely they'll be able to deal with Okada's Okadaisms though.

Shinbo didn't do Madoka though, that was, again, Miyamoto.

He also didn't do A's, which was the good Nanoha series anyway.

shokugeki no soma will wait until current arc finished and story progress quite far to prepare for season 2 because it will 100% big hit and hyped

anyway OT, the artwork seems so realistic that make it become quite gross if you combine it with ahegao foodgasm...
