MKV Subs on Windows Media Player?
Hello, I recently switched from .avi to .mkv after doing a little bit of reading on the two containers. I installed CCCP, but I'm unable to view the subtitles in Windows Media Player. I know WMP isn't the best choice, but I like the skin of it and I don't want to have to use multiple media players. My cousin is able to view subtitles of an MKV file in his WMP, but for me, they don't show up :/
The file is an H.264 video and AAC audio packed into MKV. CCCP is installed and subtitles are turned on. No subtitles show though. What should I do to get the subtitles to show in WMP? Thanks a bunch. |

Open CCCP's settings, go to the second page, check Autoload VSFilter in the Haali Media Splitter section and then just click Apply. Subs should show up in WMP now.
Although I suggest that you give a try to the players that come with CCCP, Media Player Classic and ZoomPlayer. |
