See my list is actually pretty easy to figure out. 90% of the top half of my list are characters in anime I've already seen while 90% of the bottom half of my list are characters in anime I've not seen. Do you see how I label the 84th place and so on "ranked just so they can be ranked"? That's my way of saying I haven't seen Negima anime yet but I am forced to give Evangeline a rank since she was in ISML 2008.

Yeah my list ends at 127. There's two reasons for making my list. The first reason is that you must have been in a moe tournament, and the second reason is that you must be moe. The lowest ranked character on my list that were not in ISML 2008 regular season, top 16 of J-Saimoe, or top 16 of Best Moe is 76) Ryouko Asakura, so now you have an idea why the dividing line is at 84. All characters below 84th place are characters that made it far in some Saimoe tournament which opted me to rank them somehow, but I don't necessarily find them moe. They're just ranked in comparison to others, although I agree that I do not have enough knowledge to judge them. All I've seen of Evangeline are pictures and unfortunately I have something against girls dressed in black looking like vampires.

That's understandable. Evangeline's appeal is a limited one. I can't even pinpoint it, really. But then, I DO like vampires and the dark, mysterious nature they possess. That, and I just love so many of the Negima!(?) girls in general. Ken Akamatsu character designs are big win.

It's true that Evangeline with a geniune smile is a very rare ocurrence. I only remember two times in the manga where it happened (none that have been animated but one of them will be on the third OVA...). But she is the kind of tragic character that rarely smile.

I didn't see any Toradora characters on your list. You're not watching it or you didn't find any of them to be moe?

Heh, I don't find much moe in Taiga. If I were to put Minorin on my list she would be at ~60th place, but I haven't added characters to my list since Best Moe. I'm quite lazy right now.

Like funk said, it was the ending and resolution that made it sublime. The combination of Taiga's composure, deredere, and that look were too much to handle.

I guess I should watch some Manabi Straight to see what kind of impression Saki Fujita makes as Momoha Odori. I've seen a few youtube clips and it sounds like she's a rather competent voice actress.

Definitely watch Manabi Straight, it's well worth the time Actually, it's one of my favorite series (and thanks to Kholdstare for recommending it); the list of VAs is impressive and they really play off each other well. Yui Horie as Manami (Manabi) is at the top of her form here

국제사이모에리그에서 내년 1월 1일부터 추천지명을 개시합니다.
추천지명은 한국시간 기준으로 1월 1일 오후 2시~1월 8일 오후 2시까지 진행되며 가장 높은 점수를 얻은 32명의 캐릭터가 예선전에 돌입하게 됩니다.
예선을 거치고 살아남은 27명이 본 시즌에 진출하게 되니, 5명빼고 다 붙는단 얘기(...)
아, 지명 상황은 중간집계는 물론 예선이 끝날때까지 순위도 안적혀있는 Top32리스트를 제외한 모든 정보가 공개되지 않습니다.

지명방법
1. http://www.internationalsaimoe.com/voting/ 에 접속한다(현재는 막혀있습니다)
2. 접속하시면 아래와 같은 창이 보일 것입니다. 맨 왼쪽은 그 캐릭터에게 줄 점수로, Top32결정은 이 점수의 합으로 하게 됩니다.
그 다음은 각각 캐릭터명과 시리즈명으로, 여기에 추천 캐릭터 이름과 시리즈명을 차례대로 쓰시면 됩니다.

3. 완료 버튼을 누릅니다.

.......이렇게 방법은 간단합니다만, 주의사항이 좀 많습니다.
1. 진짜 어쩔 수 없을 경우엔 한글로 써도 되지만, 지명창에는 영어로 쓸 것을 강력하게 추천합니다.
2. 다음 37명의 캐릭터는 이미 본 시즌 진출이 확정되었습니다. 얘네 쓰면 그냥 점수 날리는 겁니다(...)

1) 성별은 여자여야 합니다.(남캐 참가불가)
2) 70년대 애니라도 상관없지만, 참가자는 반드시 어떠한 '일본 애니메이션'을 대표해야 합니다.
(쿈코등 동인캐릭터 참가불가. 국산/미국 캐릭터 참가불가.)
TV시리즈, OVA, OAV, 극장판이 모두 인정되며 국제사이모에 스탭이 해당 애니의 존재여부만을 확인할 수 있으면 됩니다.
3) 이름이나 확실한 구별방법이 없는 캐릭터, 또는 출연비중이 극히 적은 캐릭터는 참가할 수 없습니다. (미쿠등 엑스트라 출전캐릭 참가불가)
4) 18금 애니는 참가대상에서 제외되며, 18금에 나왔더라도 다른 애니에 나왔다면 18금이 아닌 애니 이름으로 참가 가능합니다.
