it's obvious that Kurogane is much stronger than this guy because yeah he has the "eye" and has better skills but he has got experiences at kendo and you have Kurogane with "zero ability and a very weak body" who can still win against 5 opponents so basicaly he just need training for overtake the stronger fighters

Well the way this Aizen guy was portrayed, it won't be until the very end of the manga that Kurogane may beat him. It's not a smart decision to go this route only 10 chapters in if the mangaka wants this to be a long-running series.

It's called giving up and running away!!!

Anyway, chapter was good and Tsubame was cute. The captain was great, but he really laid the cliche shounen speech on thick there. You basic set-up chapter before the main event. I honestly don't know what technique Kurogane can use without actually blinding the guy or something. The dude has everything Kurogane has and more. My issue is that with this guy having the "eyes", you have to wonder just how many more people are going to have Kurogane's "unique" ability, which of course, won't make it unique anymore. It'll be like the Sharingan... everyone has one.

That may have been the idea here. Perhaps the author wants to avoid making Kurogane's ability into a sharingan ...at all costs!

After all I'm still disappointed on how things turned out with Sayu and god mode kid, so not really exicted about the kendo stuff now, much more interested in TsubameXKurogane

The lollerpop dude was funny, can't wait to see him getting whooped. I doubt it's gonna be a chapter per fight, if you take into account the point system and the fact that kendo matches are generally fast, even with all the character interactions there should be enough room for another fight to start in the same chapter, maybe for just one point.

It confirms my belief that this is a science fiction disguised as sports. It feels more and more like PoT, without the charming characters.

Just started with this up to 14. Interesting series.

Hikaru no Go's Sai and this serie's Sayuri gives opposing vibes personality wise. Have to say this though, Sai gave off an atmosphere of being almost truly unbeatable while Sayuri seems to be extremely strong but on shaky ground when considering being truly number 1. That said, Sayuri's actions are more enjoyable especially in her chibi doll form.

Another 30 to 40 chapters of this and probably it'll end up an anime

And also, I just realized something. Even if NOBODY in the entire series can actually beat that guy in a match, it just doesn't matter. The matches are 5 on 5 and will always be 5 on 5 (I think). Kurogane can't carry the entire team either. We might have been not thinking this properly up till now. Like the new asshole antagonists. Just the way I like them. __________________

Oh but there was a panty shot in this chapter. I think that's about all that stands out to me. Harsh maybe, but if they take a chapter for each separate fight I'm gonna take a break and come back in a month. No real interest to see every single one besides Kurogane's. Well maybe Shidou's too...

Guess I'm heartless since I find it kind of boring... Also he doesn't really have the time to drag these fights out now that it's getting rated. I predict it's going to take a huge nosedive the two chapters Aizen was brought into the story. Maybe later if the ratings stay good he can stretch them out and make them more in depth but not now that it's already just out of the bottom five...
