This is from Volume 2, right? The uniforms are really different and Charlotte's disguise is even less convincing than before.

Okay, the uniforms look absurd :/ I can understand making the IS look more organic, but why in the hell were the military-like uniforms swapped out for what looks to be fetish wear? Seriously, Rin's is the worst: She looks like she's planning to do a strip tease rather than attend a school. I know this is supposed to be an ecchi series and all, but I don't know how they justify in-universe Rin's uniform exposing her bra or Houki wearing a top that looks one size too small. Hell, even the less absurd choice of wearing sandals, since most uniformed schools would give you detention for wearing non-proper shoes.

I myself prefer the original uniform design. It looked cool and unique, but now it doesn't fit in with the theme of the IS Academy. Perhaps those are the summer uniforms, I think. The uniforms were normal in the Volume 1 scans of CHOCO.

didn't choco say he wanted in put from the fans because he didn't know how to draw the characters so i think this might change in later volumes

and if there summer uniforms the only design i have a huge problem with is rins, yes houki's shirt being a size to small is an annoyance but i can get over that,

I'm missing the old uniform designs, although I do like Houki and Cecilia's a quite bit.
I particularly like Houki's uniform a bit more than Cecilia's due to that shirt and short skirt!

I like the first IS Academy uniform designs because they're very fitting for IS Academy itself. Considering that it's a prestigious school...

These new ones are very skimpy for IS Academy. Very unfitting for it...

If the new anime season goes with these designs, I'm going to have a very disgusting reaction.

Similar to what I had with Girls und Panzer...

What boggles the mind is that they still have the old uniforms in the title pages, so its either just promo artwork or its summer uniforms. Still doesn't explain Rin, however, or why 'Charles' still looks disguised.

There is nothing wrong with Choco's art really. The only problem is that he's overdoing the ecchi. Either he's nervous as heck thinking the fans want more skin or the management is pushing him. I don't think he's doing the oversexualized designs on purpose. At least I hope he's not

But i'm quite excited to see what the changes will fare in the manga, the change in the uniform was quite unnatural at first, same for the IS suit.

This requires nothing else from me other than: New look sucks to me. Didn't even like the old one, but I'd have preferred that to this newer one.
