This question is towards the series Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei in general.

Does anyone think they've learned something from this series? It may not be something practical (or important even) but even so I got a few ideas. Some examples would be the "guilt complex", "innocence complex", overshadowing, detoxing, and criticism training.

What do you say?

I can definitely say I agree with most of the rants.

I agree that great things do get overshadowed by something else (especially if it is mediocre).
My examples: Comedy gold Arrested Development being pushed out of its' designated schedule by Family Guy and that one crappy sitcom eventually leading to its' demise. The Kindaichi series being overshadowed by Conan. Kung Fu Hustle by Kill Bill.

My sister plays Gaia Online and she agrees that she does put too many ornaments.

Criticism training applies to a place like deviantArt. Except over at dA, they'll most likely bite your head off.

Speaking of dA, I am inclined to believe that people do things that are beyond their status. My pet peeve is that some random schmuck thinks they're an awesome artist just because he knows how to copy, paste and add lensflare. Photoshop? MSPaint is good enough for you!

"Lessons" so far. I am putting this in the spoiler since I learnt from Episode 12 not to inconvenience anyone who does not want to read what I wrote... sumimasen...sumimasen....

Spoiler for Long list.... Spoiler for every single episode for Season 1:

1. Don't worry if you see someone hanging him or herself. The person is just trying to increase his or her height.
2. If it is in the newspaper or television, it can't happen near you.
3. You can't live near a hikkikomori. It must be a Zakishi Warashi.
4. There is no such thing as stalking. It is all deep love.
5. The ultimate true deep love is to commit a double suicide.
6. The best song for committing suicide: Enya.
7. A foreigner has a habit of throwing lawsuits at you.
8. It is fine if you are buying someone else's identity, as long as you both agree to it.
9. You can use anything to commit domestic violence, such as using an Ichigo 100% manga, pump, frying pan, foils, etc.
10. Be careful of a silent, shy person. The person must be the "anonymous," who never forgives.
11. Your worth depends on how much you are willing to lend others.
12. Junk food = toxin. No toxin = bad.
13. 4-koma always has a hidden, dark fifth panel. (Azumanga Daioh, anyone?)
14. You can market everything except a normal person.
15. Being under the shadow is always bad.
16. Call your local fireman for "criticism drill." To lessen the impact, call a beautiful woman to insult you.
17. You always makes mistake, and that including of you being born. Probably writing this long list is already a mistake. Another mistake is to read this long list. Either way, we are both screwed.
18. If your mistake is brought to light, then you are no longer mistaken
19. Someone else knows you better than you are and your ID is useless as a proof.
20. If you think you are cultured, you will grow up as a bad person.
21. If it is in the constitution, then you have to obey it, though minimally.
22. Preview everything! Don't worry if someone calls you a stalker. You are just previewing your love.
23. The path towards the female body is treacherous: Anime -> Figures -> Big Figures -> Love Dolls -> Female Body.
24. There's no such thing as a coma. You are previewing the afterlife.
25. Disaster will fall on you if you don't follow the instruction. You can also blame everything on "following the instruction."
26. Hibernation can take many forms such as long forgotten thread (until someone replied to two-year-old dead thread) and baldness.

Yes, I learned a lot and also there were a lot of times where I would go "I know what you mean". There are also a lot of things I despair at along with Nozomu, including the media hyping stuff up, overshadowing, doubting the obvious, etc.

Great list. Other things that can be done now is record all the lessons of the second season, the lessons in the manga chapters that are scanlated but not animated,

The lesson is not to see things with bias eyes, and to not buy old sunglasses.

and a list of the seats of the students.

But I think the most important lesson here is that giving anime to the hands of the director of this anime series is the craziest thing to do.
