Recommend me a manga series.

I finished reading Ranma 1/2 and I loved it (especially the ending)!
I'm also reading Fruits Basket and I'm enjoying that. Naruto is pretty good too.

What should my next manga series be? I like manga with romance, and a good extras would be humor and action.

Well you could try 666Satan, it was made by the brother of the guy who created Naruto and isnt a super title but its grown on me. Airgears is pretty good too, made by the creator of Tenjo Tenge, more real looking art style and has some nice humor and action (and fanservice >__<).

And give Futari H a try if you dont mind some acult content. Its basicly a real look at the sexual relationship between a newly married couple, funny and informative.

Romance, action and humor, try out some of Yuu Watase's work like Fushigi Yuugi, Alice 19th or Ayashi no Ceres. I like Alice 19th the most out of those three

More info can be found here : Alice 19th
Ayashi no Ceres
Fushigi Yuugi

Definite must read is : Homonculus, (not affiliated to FMA in any way)

Furthermore i'd say that reading manga wich continues after the anime ended is pretty good fun.

Hajime no Ippo and Hikaru No Go are 2 that are worth your while.

Offcourse if you haven't seen the anime all the more reason to read them.

How many chapters, books, or volumes are there in Blade of the Immortal? Alice 19th? Homonculus? Bleach?

There are currently:

ˇ 13 English volumes of Blade of the Immortal | 16 Japanese, I think.
ˇ 3 English volumes of Bleach | 14 Japanese volumes | 152 chapters..

I have no idea about the other two, sorry ^^;

Sounds like School Rumble Follow the round about love angles of a spoon bending blockhead, her telepathic sister, a 1/8 English primadonna, and a Beastmaster high school delinquent cum aspiring romance mangaka [are more characters: but too long to put them all down ]. The animation came out last week and prompted me to hunt down one of the stangest works of manga in existance.

Be warned, translations for the manga are... not gramatically correct >_<

If you want the funniest manga I've ever read, go with Great Teacher Onizuka. It's absolutely great!

Kris Reccommends:

XXXHolic
Tsubasa (The Story crosses with xxxHolic)
Saint Marie (Korean Title)
Card Captor Sakura/ Sakura Master of the Clow
Inu Yasha (My favorite in highschool, far superior to the anime)
If you can find something by Ryoichi Ikegama, the art is gorgeous.
Tokyo Babylon
X/1999

Haha. If you can't tell, I love Clamp, with the exception of the ever popular, but dissapointing stupid Chobits. Of all of them, Tokyo Babylon is the one to follow, in my humble opinion. MMMmmmm...

it's by the same author who did Hikaru no Go (which I happen to love as well^^. But Death Note and Hikaru no Go are VERY different)
OMG it's just so witty and makes u cant stop reading it
Theres not much romance factor in DN though........I like romance too, but too bad^^".......

I'll definitely have to second Bleach. if you don't mind fighting/ martial arts titles. Personally, I think it's absolutely fantastic, since the drama and mystery elements are well incorporated. If you like romance though, definitely hit up Ichigo 100%. Considering the number of people who troll for this title here on the Suki forums, I'm surprised that no one's brought it up yet. It's pretty standard romance-comedy, but I think that the series contains absolutely fantastic art. The girls are unbelievably cute, and the humor is well placed. If you like Ichigo 100%, try Lillim's Kiss, another quirky romance by the same mangaka. Other titles that may be somewhat in your field are Pretty Face (somewhat similar to Ranma in the gender-confusion humor), I"s, and Yakitate Japan. All are great mangas. ^^

Based on your taste, I'd recommend:

Ichigo 100%
Pretty Face
Midori no Hibi
Tsubasa + xxxHolic
Bleach
Magister Negi Magi
