Kinda worried about it getting one so early since there's not that much material to adapt but hopefully the actual airing will be a long ways off. I'm hoping Sunrise or Production I.G. is doing this. Should be interesting to see how this fares since this is really the first JUMP action series since Toriko (well depending on how you place Medaka Box)

Confirmed to air in the Fall.

Its airing sooner than I initially expected. I'm still cautiously optimistic that it the studio and more importantly the staff will be decent, since I would hate it if they screw this up.

Other than Yoshino who I'm kind of mixed on, this is a pretty good staff list for a Toei show. I thought they were going to half ass it given the timeslot and scheduling issues but this could be a good adaption after all

First episode was good especially the OP song. I find Yuuma to be quite an interesting kid too with the way he just handles those bullies and monsters so far. Was this confirmed to be 2 cour btw? I'm hoping so....or maybe it might be 23 episodes since it took Rowdy Sumo Wrestler Matsutaro's time slot.

I don't think it's been confirmed just yet. Although it did take over Matsutaro's slot, it's not an indicator of how long a show will run. Digimon Xros Wars ran for about 6 cours, (4 of them being in that time slot), while Omega ran for 8 cours. So this could be a long runner, for all we know.

I know, I was just making a wild guess. I'm hoping it will be at least 2 cour.

Just watched the first episode.

While I liked how the anime replicated expressions from the manga (I always felt that those expressions - whether they were serious, comedic, or just plain - were a distinctive style of author's), I can't help but feel that the animation itself was somewhat lacking.
