It's a motel, which, let's face it, is probably not seeing much traffic, so it's been requisitioned for military use. It's one a 3-star establishment, it's probably NO stars, but it's easier than building barracks.

Hell, when the 101st was moving through Germany, they were requisitioning peoples' houses to live in.

In the US, motels aren't really for tourists; these are cheap no-frills accommodation used usually for transients, such as truckers, drug dealers, people who can't get an apartment but can't afford a hotel, Division agents on the run...

Also, there's usually enough inter-country traffic to justify creations of motels and hotels. It's not like everyone has family to stay over with when traveling to another town for business.

/And it's not like Yuzuka in a motel tingles my naughty senses or anything.
