Dude, ANYTHING from the 90s that was licensed by Media Blasters!!
Nightwalker (U.S. Manga) Shinesman Princess Rouge Elf Princess Ren Ninja Cadets Sorceror On The Rocks My Dear Marie (this was ADV) And I really want to get my hands on Gestalt. Love the character designs. Bad thing about great OVAs-they never get finished. Quote:

Currently planning to see 60s Kitaro untranslated . More than bragging rights I watch anime for the sake of pure entertainment/enjoyment . So even If I come across some old series I may not watch it if doesn't appeal to me or seems boring .

That's awesome! I know!! How could they not do well!? I thought Princess Rouge was WAY more interesting than Oh My Goddess!! And Shinesman was pure GOLD.

Does Godannar (sp?) count as rare? Also, when I was looking up a Drama CD to torrent, I found Tsukiyo no Fromage which has no wiki page, so I'm not sure if it has a huge fanbase or is distributed in America. And I tried searching Google for more info but it's all for naught... so I don't know if it's for Japan only.

How about; Yamamoto Yohko, Hyper Police, eX-Driver, Devil Hunter Yoko, and Land Lock? Do those count?
Forgot to mention Birdy the Mighty as well. Yeah I know it's being re-released along with new material, but still it was/is seldom talked about.

In reading through many of the pages in this thread I've found several amazing animes, and loled at people who think One Piece and Deathnote are rare...
So, rarest animes I've seen are Iria, The Cockpit, Genocyber, and one that I don't think has been mentioned in this thread yet: Curse of Kazuo I'm sure I've seen a few more rare ones but that's all I can think of at the moment.

I've watched a lot of Korean animations.
Since none of them made it to DVD, or even VHS, I don't believe anyone else has seen shows like Duchi&Puku unless they were living in Korea at the time. I'm still looking for evidence that "Space Oz Adventures" is a real anime. Apparently it is: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/ency...me.php?id=4739 but my goodness, there's no VHS or DVD of it either.

I'll also throw out Bubblegum Crisis OVA, Bubblegum Crash and A. D. Police. Yes, I was (and still am) a total fanboy for this setting. Cyberpunk FTW.
