Watched the first two episodes. Where are the sports fans? Is it the sport of Basketball itself that are preventing the usual discussion seen in sports anime?
Anyway, this series is fairly strong in terms of generating good amount of sports drama. They didn't waste any moment to jump right in from where things were left off in season 1. I still don't know how Kuroko can compete with any of these teams that has people with exceptional abilities. A point guard who can't shoot isn't going to win games just by passing the ball or dribbling. He needs to start scoring sometime.

Lol they're not even being subtle about the BL this episode.
But yeah, a part of me wants to see Seirin lose just so Riko grows out her hair. Moments like those between Riko and Hyuuga is the only thing keeping me here, as they give enough here and there to string me along. And so far it's worth it. You know what I missed most about S1 though? The end cards. Like half the reason I kept watching till the end was because of those, and with the OP/ED songs not being kickass as S1, only shipping is keeping me interested here.

This one is just fun while realism toward how the basketball is played takes a back seat. I understand why the ladies would want to watch it, but still I think the show has pretty good atmosphere in terms of highlighting the competitive spirit. That's pretty much the main reason why I'm enjoying this show. Despite the exaggerating method how this show highlight basketball, I still think Kuroko needs to learn how to shoot. Every team that plays against Kuroko's, they don't need to cover him and just double team the best scorer. And that's it. The opposing team has a clear advantage when going against Kuroko's team. Episode 3 makes Kuroko pretty useless considering the center was doing some of the things a good Point Guard would normally be doing. May be the pettanko should consider taking Kuroko out of the team when they are facing stronger team.

I'm watching this as a b-ball fan.... and I don't know why I would be watching this for realism, I got league pass for that. And predictable... yeah but aside from a certain character being bullshit it's still fairly enjoyable, I mean no one expected Kise to beat Aomine but it was still the clear highlight of s1.

I'm NBA fan as well, while its not fully realistic.. but b-ball in Kuroko does look fucking cool like NBA Highlight reel.. Bullshit powa n move aside
Most of "unrealistic" idea is cool thing like You only does 360 dunk for free dunk, in here you use it for poster! Or when you go into lane-up, just dunk that stuff! There's a lot of that in Kuroko, and its fascinating to see that as enthusiast
