It seems that we are going to have a lot more patience then before, since this particular information has been posted on Shueisha's website, that due to the earthquake and Tsunami the next release of the Jump Square magazine is going to be delayed:

Quote:
Jump Square May issue originally scheduled for release on April 6th and the June issue scheduled for release on May 2nd will be combined and released jointly on April 21st
... but it might be possible that we will get a double release as a result - we will just need to wait and see how it's going to be, when the "combined" magazine is going to be released... unfortunately, there is still another month of waiting, before we will be able to see how it's going to be...

So April 21st we will get two chapters of R+V?, is that what that means?

Considering whats happen to Japan, i don't mind waiting for this.

Be warned; every time I've seen a magazine do a double issue before, it means we only get one chapter and then have to wait for a long time... basically, we'll get the April issue, but then will have to wait two months. But we've done this before... and this time, there's a damned good reason behind the wait

The battle with Alucad occurred 206 years ago (after adding the age difference between the current Moka, and the Moka from the flashback...)

It was mentioned in chapter 33, page 12 of the Second Season.

Well, 200 years roughly, but remember this was Touhou speaking and he probably wasn't referring to it being 200 years from the time of the flashbacks refer to as the point of reference, but probably that of their present time. So it could be 200 or 206, but give or take a couple of decades would be a wise choice when trying to pin down times in R+V.

It was Akasha who defeated and sealed away Alucard 200 years ago, as said by Touhou Fuhai, but leaving it at that is fine, debating over that would be funny.

You will find it wherever manga is readable online. Just not the latest chapter (40) because it hasn't come out yet, and the double volume, which should contain chapter 41, won't be out until late next month.

I'm probably going to get laughed out the thread for saying this but been going through some of the vids on my Htpc and R&V music flicked up on random, and now I've got this strange urge to rewatch the series again, probably all because of Nana Mizuki. I think its been about a year now since I saw it and ended up finding the manga and this thread after.

Such a shame they missed a whole chunk of potential with this show, s2 especially

There are plenty of other ways to make yourself a laughing stock. But that, in my opinion, is not one of them. Though they didn't even scratch the potential of the series with either half of the series, it's still better than nothing... even though it could have been vastly different if the moeblob bubble didn't effect it as much, we could have had a much better anime than it turned out to be.

But oh well, it's in the past and we can't change that.
