It seems that we are going to have a lot more patience then before, since this particular information has been posted on Shueisha's website, that due to the earthquake and Tsunami the next release of the Jump Square magazine is going to be delayed:

Be warned; every time I've seen a magazine do a double issue before, it means we only get one chapter and then have to wait for a long time... basically, we'll get the April issue, but then will have to wait two months. But we've done this before... and this time, there's a damned good reason behind the wait

Well, 200 years roughly, but remember this was Touhou speaking and he probably wasn't referring to it being 200 years from the time of the flashbacks refer to as the point of reference, but probably that of their present time. So it could be 200 or 206, but give or take a couple of decades would be a wise choice when trying to pin down times in R+V.

It was Akasha who defeated and sealed away Alucard 200 years ago, as said by Touhou Fuhai, but leaving it at that is fine, debating over that would be funny.

I'm probably going to get laughed out the thread for saying this but been going through some of the vids on my Htpc and R&V music flicked up on random, and now I've got this strange urge to rewatch the series again, probably all because of Nana Mizuki. I think its been about a year now since I saw it and ended up finding the manga and this thread after.
Such a shame they missed a whole chunk of potential with this show, s2 especially

There are plenty of other ways to make yourself a laughing stock. But that, in my opinion, is not one of them. Though they didn't even scratch the potential of the series with either half of the series, it's still better than nothing... even though it could have been vastly different if the moeblob bubble didn't effect it as much, we could have had a much better anime than it turned out to be.
But oh well, it's in the past and we can't change that.
