They could've left Zeref alone in the first place.
Gildarts & Cana heart to heart talk was kinda sweet.

They've been popping up in episodes through out the series. I'm not sure myself, but i think its just something the animators add in as their own joke or something.

Oooo, the scence between Meldy and Ultear is emotional in my opinion.. Meldy forgiving her mother even though she destroyed Meldy's town.. I hope they join FT though

Would be amazing if they did.

Yeah I can't see that as being very likely. Ultear shows up anywhere near Fairy Tail and you'll have Erza dragging her ass to the council so she can confess for her actions and swap cells to get Jellal out of prison.

The best situation for those two is to continue traveling while staying as far away from anyone who might want to turn them in.

Btw shouldn't Cana's surname be the same as her mother's? Unless Alberona is the most common surname in Fiore I would have expected Gildarts to say something along the lines of "Oh, I used to know someone called Alberona" and Cana would say "yeah I bet I could even be your daughter" and Gildarts would say "hahah don't be silly, what kind of guy do you think I am? *whistles*"

Anyway I didn't like how Cana's story was handled. It made her look like a complete fool. Maybe she would've done better if she stayed drunk.

Liked the Episode overall.

But maybe i'm too picky .. but being a manga reader i was so looking forward to the Meldy-Ultear and Gildarts-Cana scene.

Can't say much about the Gildarts/Cana scene since well. He just did what any father would do. And its really hard to make it seem natural/unnatural.

BUT. I'm probably just being a a-hole for being so picky and all but i felt that WHAT THE HELL WAS ULTEAR AND MELDY WEARING -______________-

It just spoiled that scene for me, i'm sorry. Like they just took out their previous armor and now their on their way to a vacation on a small boat.

Though Meldy's sense link to Ultear was well .. idk. I felt like they rushed it all.

Loved the Laxus-Lisanna-Wendy short scene. Its just. A Rare scene where you see Laxus being.. well. His true self.

Erza is coming for her you can bet your ass on it, not only has her actions made Erza's life a living hell it has endangered her guild heck even the entire city more than 5 times over the course of the series, the only way Ultear is redeeming for the shit she has done is getting thrown into Alice's wonderland.

Well, it happened. And I gotta say, as futile as it was, they at least gave Laxus a chance to do something cool.

And for anyone worried about next episode, just watch the preview.

Oh, and they only further solidified Juvia's status as my favorite character.

So who summoned Acnologia? It was mentioned that Hades might have done it, but how and when?

Well, chobits blonde girl finally showed up, and from the looks of the preview, she probably transported the whole island into the future. However, does Laxus qualify, since he is technically not a member of Fairy Tail?

What the hell? just like that 7 1/2 years have passed... that's some insane plot twist right there, BOOM and the whole storyline has been jumbled to hell... then again 7 years does fit in with all the dragons disappearing on the 7/7/777...

Also i think the chobits chick is Mavis? anyway next episode will surely be full of new surprises.

Lol some use dragon slayer magic was. They were completely outclassed. Good thing that chobits girl used some magic to protect everyone as seen in the preview. No one has that kind of power in fairy tail so it had to be that mysterious girl. And it looks like the entire island is fine too. So im guess we will find out what they have been doing for the past 7 years and my guess is training. But what I really want to see is the other dragons meet up and discuss things seeing as this is a "dragon issue". But the last time we saw dragoneel he was all upset for being disturbed before the proper time or something. Guess we have to wait for that 7/7/7.

Simple: the dragon is attracted to overly dark ambitions. In this case, it was Grimoire Heart's attempt to bring about a worldwide disaster using Zeref.

Teared a little when i saw Laxus' tears.

And than bam. One of the most emotional episodes so far.

Seems like it was Mavis who did it, and she was so pretty.

We got to see 2 of the most powerful combination spells used by everyone and i thought the music was great. They played most of the epic music sound tracks during the emotional scenes and battle scenes.

Never thought I'd hear them play Dragon Force & San-nin no Dragon Slayer together in one episode.

Wow, I was expecting scenes from next ep to be filler arc stuff since that was the last chapter of S-class trail arc...

Overall, a good episode but I was hoping for less filler fighting and more omg this is it...

As to you anime only fans well, the manga was even more of a tearjerker since the cover page showed Makarov in heaven at the pearly gates waving goodbye. Every manga reader I recall was literally holding bated breath wondering if the only reason Makarov survived Hades was to save everyone from Acnologia, though there was less people believing he'd die than after his fight with Hades but still people where holding there breath since that Dragon ate half of Gildarts in a second flat.

The chapter with the above cover page (252) started with Gildarts hearing the dragon and ended with Laxus grabbing Natsu and running for the hills (first half of the ep, the filler of that part of the ep was Makarov, Erza and Laxus talking; which was very good for filler material kudos to the anime staff for that part). The next ch was a WAY shorter fight with far more pawning down by Acnologia and less counter attack by Fairy Tail (aka no unison raids... didn't they also use a Juvia x Gray unison raid in the last filler? wonder what it is with filler and unison raids

). Also Lucy didn't cry her eyes out and whine that they where all about to die (pushing getting out of character imo, especially after not crying that she was about to die vs Hades) but she did randomly get teary eyed though when running to join everyone's hand, however Mest sorry Doranbolt's omg face was just as cowardly

It was the way he was bouncing around while he was announcing it(voicing act too) while recieving Erza's approval at that. lol @ Wendy hiding behind a tree afraid to approach laxus who's busy pulling Lisanna's cheek and padding her head to see if she's real. And the Gildarts/Cana part was the highlight for me. Very well done. Spoiler for Preview speculations: In the preview of the next episode, Makarov goes "giant" and appears to be holding off the dragon. Natsu is pulled away in tears. This is not a good sign. Is this the end of Makarov, as he sacrifices himself to save everyone? However, Tenroujima is supposed to prevent death. Then again, if a destructive force is strong enough to destroy Tenroujima, then the Fairy Tail members will be all in trouble. The only other reasons I can think of for Natsu to be in tears is 1) Gildarts is dying, or 2) Somehow the dragon that is coming is related to Igneel. We still have yet to see the blond chobits looking girl from the intro, with only a few episodes to go in this arc. I'm expecting to see her soon, and I still believe it will be Mavis. __________________

Chapter 254 was the start of "Year X791" arc and based on scenes from next week it is chapters 254 and 255, however based on the listed upcoming episodes: 123 X791 Fairy Tail Ｘ７９１年　妖精の尻尾 (X791 Nen Fearī Teiru) Mar 24 2012 124 The Empty Seven Years空白の７年 (Kūhaku no 7 Nen) Mar 31 2012 125 Magic Dance Ball 魔法舞踏会 (Mahō Butōkai) Apr 7 2012 Pure speculation from here but I'm guessing ep 124 is chapters 256 and 257 since they just flow together so well as chapters. However... The name of episode 125 "Magic Dance Ball" isn't a name of any chapter title nor does it seemingly relate to any plot line in the next few chapters of Year X791 arc. So my guess would be this is going to be the start of a filler arc which I heard was confirmed, since the manga is still seemingly towards the beginning or early middle of Year X791 arc. So I hate to say it but Fairy Tail the anime is now caught up to the manga meaning we'll get tons of fillers now until year x791 arc is over in the manga and based on the manga arcs getting longer and longer every arc I highly suggest any anime fans who don't want filler yet want to know how the plot progresses after the time jump to start reading the manga (BTW the latest arc is OMG FUNNY and has had some great fights so far). __________________
