There will be an OVA with volume 12 as well and it's coming out in a month or so.

So I heard the anime is going to have 12 episodes huh?
That being said, the battle between Rias and Phenex should be over with by next chapter?

Then 12 will cover the "Decisive Battle"?

Man, its difficult to think that this anime is going to be on break for the summer.

Do you guys think it'll aire this fall for season 2?

Because it's produced by Media Factory, season 2 is possible, but only if the BD/DVD sold very well.

Hmmm there should be 1-2 more eps after the Rating game, if they go canon that is.
There is still some story to say after rating game.

It's painful to think that the anime would be cut before it even shows the epitome of it's epicness! It only gets wayyyyyyy better from here on out.

The 13th volume of High School DxD light novel series bundled a Blu-ray Disc with an unaired anime episode. Ishibumi himself wrote the episode, and the limited edition set included a different illustrated cover.

Anime now is based on volume 2 story about Rias vs Raiser rating game practice, and what happens after Rias wins/looses to Raiser.

Ep 11 will be probably finish of game (either halfway or at the end) and ep 12 will be a closure and afterefects of rating game. Unless they will cut novel material.

Well, I was quite satisfied with this episode. It showed me all the scenes I was expecting it to be shown. E.g. (lap pillow, Dress Break and Koneko's fall) That's it! Now I am looking forward for the next episode!!

The only thing they can do is rushed things with 2 episodes left. It is not enough to cover the whole volume 2 considering the aftermath of the battle.

That's what I think even thought I'm still on hiatus. With 5 eps to watch on this weekend .

After the fight ended there was still enough material for 2-3 eps with all characters thoughts then there's some action to. Unless they will really squeeeze it. I think they can go Anime Original ending where Rating Game winner may be changed just so they will get a fast ending.

It may be similar to Claymore case where they will butcher the ending.
