I've stated this before, I believe the plot is nothing "special" and I don't read it for the plot either. It's more of an entertainment read for the character interactions imo. The other volumes sort of follow the same formula with an air of mystery, a bit of a dark overtone, and deaths occurring every now and then. So to answer your question, yes it does get better, but only slightly and things settle down a bit more compared to volume 1. I also love the other Seven Swords and new characters introduced. Note, this is only my opinion after finishing volume 3.

What exactly is the deal with vol 2? It says the prologue and part of chap 1 is done, but it hasn't been posted.

Is there some blog its being posted on or something?

What's up with the prologue of volume 2? I just read it and there is a lot of strange word there, for example:

I believe the first one is Manglish or was it Singlish?

Second one is Hokkien with a little bit of Malay if I remember correctly

Third one is Manglish/Singlish + Hokkien.

I might be wrong though., but reading the prologue was hilarious.

Edit: Chapter was a mix of Manglish/Singlish + Hokkien and Cantonese.

What should be the point to do like that??, I try to find the funny side but honestly I just dont get it, maybe somekind of payback due some trolls keep bothering about translate chapters??, hope could fix soon.

BTW: Thanks for Vol 1 and translations pace!!, seems really interesting LN and I find funny "sword love", the way showing affection get close to gore if the guy cant keep the "loving girl" at safe distance, thinking twice could be problematic on harem scenario

As a Singaporean, yes that is Singlish. Something like Singapore english. (Malaysians sometime use it too). Funny how government try to promote good english, but even the teachers are speaking it. Anyways, thnks for translating this series.

First of all thanks for the translation by tjp.
But now i wonder if it is really intended to leave the rest of the translation
in this weird language.
I dont want to offend Hayashi in any way and im thankful for him translating
it further but if it wont get edited in the future i personally wont bother to read
anymore since i dont understand 50% whats written there.
A great novel and i would be quite sad if it will be left like this.

I think it's the translator's idea of a joke, since they've protected it from edits...

I must say I like the idea... true, I can't understand 100% of it and it's not quite as good as BL trolling, but still. You need to put in quite a bit of effort to have an "accurate troll translation". Respect, hayashi! Ok now, to honor that effort, I say we leave it like that!!!

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but BT Admins will ask proper translate to eng or the TL will need to move to proper link language due is not eng, far I know BT main language are eng and if I want to post on other language I need to correctly do on the proper link, like We can see on other LNs projects, worse could happen the Admins will take down (joke or not), but still @Hayashi as TL or @Thatsjustpeachy as supervisor didn't said nothing, even 2 days? has been posted, thats why it seems weird to me.

Technically, the language posted isn't suppose to exist. It's just some chinese dialects and broken english combined into one sentence.

Not exactly sure why I have to chime in on the beauty of Singlish movement but the situation has been rectified anyhow. The Nanodesu link has been placed for the prologue of volume 2 on BT and separated from the Singlish version. Not sure how Hayashi will update the ND kenshin page (full chapters at a time vs. sections), but you can find any updates there. I did find the whole thing hilarious btw.
