Oh gosh, that song is the next biggest cause of L5. D:

Concerning that video, someone actually took the 45 second sample and pretty much made a 3 minute version out of it by repeating it over and over again. Although he really messes around with the stereo near the end. Just listen to it with headphones...you'll go insane with all the au au au au hauu! xD

Is there a high-resolution of this one anywhere? It's an extended version of the first season OP and apparently the most watched Higurashi video on YouTube, but I've not seen it show up in any Higurashi threads anywhere possibly because to find it on youtube you have to enter the kanji/hiragana version of the title, ひぐらしのなく頃に.
I thought it was pretty kickass at any rate:
