I'm really frustrated trying to do this myself so I'm here asking for help

What I would like is for it to fit the min avatar requirements, and if possible make it so the wight part of the box is invisible. (Do you get what I mean by that?)

What I want to know is why does it say on the image you posted that it contains 33 frames but it's size is 3,25KB . I mean.. you said you wanted it AS safe but it already was. .. and 3,25kb...

Anyway, I would think that because it's only black / white GIF, making it AS safe was really easy. Crop image, resize to 100x100, use Save for Web & Devices and adjust settings as you see fit.

The option might be called something different, depending on what program you use but you never want to save the GIF with the normal Save as ... option.

Milan : Not sure how you did yours, but yours appears squished to me. Like I told you before, if you use Shift+crop, it won't come out squished. I did the avatar as well while writing this reply and it came out like this :

However, I don't know how to do the transparency thingy on it .. the transparency box is checked but it still has white background as you can see.. help on this ?

There's a difference, The main thing I wanted besides it being AS qualified was for the wight background box to not show. I'm guessing that's what did it. But I still love it

Nah. Removing the background won't make the image squished. I just don't know how to remove the background of the image :/.

For me, usually to remove the background I would render the image but I had no clue what to do with this one since it was a gif file and there was no..... proper tool to use in ImageReady. Then I found this wonderful tool called Magic Eraser which thankfully worked in this case since the background was simply white. (Anti-aliased, contiguous checked and 5 tolerance did it for me) Simply click... the white background and it magically disappears! (ha ha..)


I guess for other images you would erase even before you start gif-ing with IR but then why would you do that?

But then again, I'm not an expert on this stuff so if there is a better method please share with me!

As for the Magic Eraser, do you still need to use it for each layer or how does it work ? I'm pretty new when it comes to Photoshop so I'm not familiar with even all of the basic functions.

Extra: Border and loop those that can be looped.

I have tried things around and have come up with this not sure if border is done fine but I tried at least fast enough as soon as I saw your request. Is this what you want?

Is there a way you could zoom in a little on her, or will it look wierd?

Well it's not possible anymore since it's already 100x100 and I don't have the .psd file. Besides '' zooming '' on her would mean that you wouldn't be able to see her body below her breasts, if you wanted me to zoom so that Takashi can't be seen.

That's fine, just make sure it's not too zoomed in on her.

Starting at around 1:40 - 1:42, I would like to have when that character is bunching be a looped gif. If it's unclear of what I'm trying to ask, I can try and explain it better.
Also if possible get rid of the sub title. And maybe have a nice border.
