Actually five it seems, overestimated. How close are they? Of those five, only Milly knows (or rather did) about his lineage, and only Kallen is even involved in his other life. Suzaku is just gone for the moment.

The problem is that Lelouch only has close friends and nothing else. He does not associate with others. He is a recluse.

Whereas most normal people have a small tight circle of inner friends, usually ranging from 4 to 10, and a circle of outside contacts and loosely defined 'friends' which can numbers in the tens of people.

Whats wrong with him having only close friends? Those are the only people that actually fit the term. Everyone else falls under "acquaintances". It doesn't even matter though. I could have encyclopedias of proof that Lelouch cares about more people than his Dick and Kallen, and you guys still wouldn't see any truth in the matter.

people never just up and leave their family for the people they love, they need time to sort out themselves you can hardly blame her for not just chasing after him when the order is like her family. especially ougi who is like a brother to her.
