i agree with you, while it's true that the Argo and the story of the golden fleece is indeed related to Hindu. It's didn't mean that he himself is related to the the story, it's like saying since the shark and the octopus both lived in ocean, they was once same things in the pasrt

Well, if you lived in Asia, his name is pretty famous, at least to people who followed Buddhism. Consider the reaction of some people in this thread, I'd say he is pretty well-known.

He is revered as Rama,Ram or Ramachandraprabhu even today by a billion Hindus same is the case with Hanuman ,Sitadevi or Lakshamana

I really wonder about educational system (I've heard of such systems aplenty) that does not teach of the oldest recorded heroic epic. Gilgamesh should be as obvious a hero to people as Heracles.
