They did mention wedding at some point in their discussion and Mio did get freaked out.

I guess Ritsu wanted to have as much fun out of it as possible.

I second to that.

and is it just me or the ep just being Mio-centric make it seem like it only ran for 10 full minutes?

~and oh the Mio-shivers are really nice, and Mugi pushing Mio away mwehehehe!

I don't care anyway. Tenshi is my 5th wife after Kyou (Clannad), Honoka (Sora Kake), Tabasa (Zero No Tsukaima) and Azunyan (K-ON!). They are all mine!

Seriously, all that's missing is a white wedding dress for her, and it could practically be a Mio & Fan Club wedding dinner. I like Mio-centric episodes as much as any, but this is hitting just a wee bit too close to home for me.
Not all the fanclub members are lesbians you know.

Oh wait, due to the effects of Mugivision after this fanclub party, they effectively are. Carry on.

I love how Ritsu phrases the "inescapable destiny" part.....our ojou provided great Mugivision to that scene! And for some reason....Azunyan was the only one who stood up for Mio. How cute! And Mugi will bring a giant cake...and Ritsu has no qualms about sharing her wife...with Azunyan is making posters.....

AND THE MIO-CHAN BACKSCRATCHER!!!

Though one thing that disturbs me in this episode is Mugi's reaction towards her juniors.....I do understand they are cute, but please leave them out Mugi. They aren't old enough. And of all people, why do the girls pick Azunyan to cut the cake with Mio? And Mugivision flooded through the room....

The insert song is brilliant.

Of course....

Fan : Where do you wash first when you take a bath?

Mio : The shower head.

Azunyan : You clean the bath?

Fan : Do you eat taiyaki from the head?

Mio : The gill cover.

Azunyan : Where!?

Spoiler for NSFW Explanation:

Flawless Plan = Fail...Sorry Mio-tan maybe next time

I loved seeing one of my favorite chapters being animated, even in a flashback. I don't know about anyone else, but I felt a little bad for Mio seeing how her poem failed, and how she was pushed off stage. Meh, oh well. Yui and Ritsu introduction for Mio was great, and the whole torturing her thing as usual was great as well.

But the best parts was the song, Azusa's thoughts to Mio's answers, and the Flawless Plan bit, I just can't get enough of it

I really can't believe that she expected them to like it. I was in WTF mode whole time she was reading it

Mio has weird imagination. But I still love Mugi pushing her off stage saying "Let's go, let's go"

I couldn't shake how freaking creepy this entire episode felt, and how it might have been a jab at the otaku populace who are borderline obsessed with Mio. I don't even like Mio and I felt bloody horrible for her during the entire tea party and her poem reading had me wondering why they even put that in to begin with.

The performance made up for it, though I was under the impression that it would have been another session of "PLAY MUSIC IN THE BACKGROUND WHILE WE SHOW STILL SCENES OF THE SCHOOL YOU DON'T ACTUALLY GIVE A SHIT ABOUT". I was impressed that the animation actually changed in tune to the music, good shit.

"I'd like for us to reflect on the first half of Mio-chan's life with the following slideshow"

I liked the poem, since it sounded pretty much like her usual song lyrics.

Like most of her lyrics...they don't make much sense. But if that poem was put to music it might have more meaning than just having Mio read it out...because clearly she thought it had meaning. Something like the amount or kind of love you put into something doesn't matter as long as it brings out special results...or something like that. All her lyrics have a suger edge to them...must be all the cake Mugi brings.

I'm trying to figure out who enjoyed the tea party most...While Ritsu and Yui were having fun...Mugi seemed to be enjoying it most. (I agree with Sawako, Mio needed to be in a costume....the summer maid outfit comes to mind first)

She probably is dreaming of cakes because of her diet.

Though I really don't understand it... I, same as Yui eat whatever I want and whenever I want without thinking about calories

What do you do if your friend and bandmate has a "fanclub" filled with creepy stalkers? Do you?
A) Support them and help them out in any way possible?
B) Ruthlessly exploit it for fun and profit?

If you're Dethklok HTT, the natural answer seems to be B! Mock your bandmate and exploit her predicament for your own entertainment. Fortunately for them, Mio doesn't have access to hard liquor or firearms, and all the pot Mugi has been slipping into her brownies has made her surprisingly pliant.

You know, after rewatching the episode, I realised that Mugi was pushing Mio AND the chair at the same time.

According to the law of physics and the science of human physical structure, how can ojou simply slide Mio across the floor. And of all places, MUGI'S HAND HAS TO BE AT HER BUTT-THIGH AREA.

Nonetheless, it makes it funnier. Good job Kyoani!

Is there a C option?

There should always be a C option.

Option C is typically scream and run away.

Hmmm...you're right. Including a pre-wedding meal (so the bride doesn't go hungry later), the kind of entrance itself, teasing the bride and the bride "serving" everyone (not drinking though).

This is really too similar.

I thought it was clever and evil to have the fan club clap in time during the rendition of the new tune... makes it difficult to snip the audio and add it to the play list

Aye, the whole party was a Ritsu-Mugi "wedding party" mess-with-Mio's-head. Nice for the fan club but oh-the-fun-of-torturing-Mio apparently never wears thin with Ritsu.

This made me laugh! You're definitely thinking too much on how Mugi pushed Mio across the stage. But strangely enough it makes total sense!

About Mio's poem, I didn't quite understand it but it's beautiful enough to make me want to rip the audio off the video and upload it to my iPod so that I can listen to it over and over as I fall asleep at night.
