All in all, I loved this adaptation. I felt that it was reasonably paced, despite my lack of interest in the dungeon struggles of the younger players. The festival arc surprisingly was a reasonable denouement for this season, with just the right number of seeds sewn for a fall harvest of more Log Horizon.

In the scene between Shiroe and Nureha I kept waiting for Akatsuki to fall from the ceiling and offer to defend her Lord from danger. I assume she heard all of that conversation unless she was being smothered by Henrietta at the time.
Glad to see another season is in the works. It became rather obvious in the last couple of episodes that they were setting things up for season two. So apparently Shiroe has been investigating methods for escaping back to the real world. Too bad we never got to see any of that process. It would have addressed a widespread criticism, one which I have also made, that the characters seemed not to care about returning.

Good Ending episode.
I hope to see some Nureha and her gang when epilogue come up, but well... just Nureha still fine too. Quote:
so I don't think Rudy will think much about that. And about second season. In time, if there will be another vol. come out, We might get 24 episode again. 16 episode from novel, The rest could be some side-story like DDD. West-wind or Kanami arc.

Great show. I think next season, we're going to see more adventuring instead of the concept of building and maintaining the city. Shiroe probably wants to find the truth and see if there really is a way back home. Can't wait for season 2 this fall.

I don't even know why people are worried about.
Mamare wrote 7 novels in less than 4 years. It averages out to 1 every half a year, and we're expecting volume 8 anytime now. Like soon. So we have: Volume 6 Volume 7 Volume 8 (likely out within the month) 1 volume of oversea gaiden (but crucially part of main story) And if volume 8 comes out within the month, we can expect volume 9 around Fall. It would be well into 2015 before the Season 2 reach the volume 9 content. See? Everything's perfectly laid out, as long as nothing happens to Mamare. We would likely have five volumes worth of content for Fall season, at the very least four volumes.
