Katagiri Yuuhi (Akane iro) Ishizuki Koyori (SOLA) Shihou Matsuri (SOLA) Shirakawa Kotori (D.C.) Sunohara Mei ( Clannad ) Ammamiya Yuuko (EF) Furukawa Sanae ( Clannad ) Tsukamoto Yakumo (School Rumble) Yuuhi is the obvious choice as first in my opinion, and the only one I'm for sure (probably) nominating out of all of these. I couldn't really choose between Koyori and Matsuri, but Koyori would get ahead in nominations simply because Matsuri had a chance last year..and didn't do so well. I do agree with Ahasuerus though, I don't think either of them will have the best of chances in 2009. Kotori is interesting and on my possible list. I am wondering if the release of the official English localisation of the Da Capo Visual Novel over Christmas will influence any votes towards her or the other D.C. girls. I it doubt it will, since I'm guessing only people interested in D.C. already will buy it before nominations, but it's possible. The other 4 on the list aren't really characters I'd nominate, but that's the order I'd choose them in anyway. I'm wishing I could narrow my own choices down to 14 though. At the moment my "shortlist" is around 30 with 3 certainties, I'm having a hard time. |

The site is slowly looking better. We have a lot more translations of the rules and welcome message (still missing Korean and the elusive Japanese), and we're giving the contestant pages a good 'ol revamp -- the biggest change of which is our motion to use the Hepburn romanization for all names.
Our staff is always looking for volunteers to help append to the biographies for each of our girls. Just send Minhtam or me a PM.

I haven't decided anything yet but here's a brainstorm. I'll just go down my moe list.
Alisa Bannings: Low priority, no one cares about her anyways. Vita: High priority, must get her back in. Caro Ru Luche: Low priority, no one cares about her anyways. Ryou Fujibayashi: Medium priority, I'll wait and see if there are still many KyoAni fags. Mei Sunohara: Medium priority, I expect her to get re-nominated without my help. Mikoto Misaka: High priority, she might have a chance so I'm giving her help. Misuzu Kamio: High priority, I want her in and from wontaek's posts others do also. Satoko Houjou: Low priority, I love her but I don't think anyone else does. Shiori Misaka: High priority, she is my favorite character from Kanon. Mika Inamori: Low priority, no one cares about her. Index: Low priority, I think she will get in anyways. Yukari Hirai: Low priority, no one cares about her. Alicia Testarossa: Low priority, no one cares about her. Reinforce Zwei: Low priority, no one cares about her. Kazumi Yoshida: Low priority, no one cares about her. Haruka Nogizaka: Medium priority, I want her in and she has support. Nanami Nishijou: Low priority, no one cares about her. Konomi Yuzuhara: Low priority, everyone hates her. Ink Nijihara: Medium priority, maybe. Ana Coppola: Low priority, not famous enough. Sekai Saionji: Low priority, everyone hates her. Makoto Sawatari: High priority, I want her in damn it.

Just picking three at random...

I'd really like to see Satoko get in, but see above. To me she's a lot more moe than Mion and/or Shion. Speaking of Shiori, I'd also like to see her run again, but I think I'll try nominating Makoto ahead of her. I have a feeling that both will be futile though I think the problem with Satoko and Makoto are that most people remember their more annoying/obnoxious traits and gloss over their more tender/moving moments. I guess it can't be helped...

AIR is a treasure trove of moe and gorgeous animation work. I'm glad I discovered it during last year's tournament. |

So are non-staff members still allowed to work on them? ... Wait, is LC a staff member? The Yami one amuses me. It looks like she's pointing down since it's difficult to see the fabric she's holding. Edit: Quote:
