I'm in my early 30s (translates: old fart) and watched the original airing of 'Heidi', 'Wickie', and 'Marco' (xxxx miles in search for mother) in Germany (late 70s). I'm old. I think I'm going to save up for a sports-car.

About the only change I've noticed in my anime preferences over the years is that I'm now more picky about which series I'll consider watching, and even more selective about which of those series I'll follow beyond the first few episodes. Don't know how much of this can be blamed on becoming older, or if it's more related to the huge amount of anime that I've watched and just becoming burned-out on it.

Well I still recommend at least sampling as many anime as possible because you never know what might actually click, even stuff which you've never considered based on reviews or screenshots. But yeah, I'm limiting myself to 12 ongoing series, whereas when I had more time I was doing 22 simultaneously.

I'm 19 right now, but I'll be 20 before this poll closes, so I won't vote. Next poll, I can vote without posting.

I used to do that too. Be following most of the series for the current season, still following a bunch of series from the previous season that remained unfinished but where still being worked on, and also waiting on signs of renewed life for some series projects that had been inactive for over a year. Finally decided it was time to scale back, clear old unfinished anime off my drives that I no longer really cared that much about, and narrow my focus to following only the active more recent series that I most looked forward to watching as soon as new releases became available for them.

Well, I'm 28 now, 29 in Dec.
I'm probably one of the biggest "kids" ever.
I will like Anime & Videogames--till the day I die. Which won't happen, cause in the grand scheme of things.....I'm immortal ^.^

I'm 17 years old, been coming here since I was 14. Time sure flies when you're watching anime.

I think I can understand your situation. Nowadays, four series at the same time is already overkill for me! Maybe I'm more picky than before, or easily bored, no time or maybe I just don't have the mood. It could be all of those at the same time even.

Even up to this day, I still have a huge backlog of titles I haven't even seen yet and they're all there just sitting in my hard drive (i.e. Monster. Damn, that's a LOT!) Good thing I've watched most of what I have in dvd.

And well, my age is already obvious. That is, if you're willing to believe what's said over at the internet. But yes, 24 years old and practically in my mid-twenties. That makes me a bit sad for some reason.

Hmm I'm surprised there are more people around my age than I thought.

I wish I could be young(er) again. Having a full time job is tiring.
