Don't feel sad at 24, around 40 comes a midlife crisis that really bums most people out for a while until they can move past it. I've just thought it best in the long run to try and avoid thinking about how many birthdays have accumulated, act as young as someone feels, and be interested in what they like for however long it lasts. For the past decade or so that's been anime and manga for me, next decade it could be something completely different...who knows. In the distant future I may be into chasing little old ladies around an old folks home for fun and to see if that viagra stuff really works. hehehe |

That's why I'm not so worried about aging. Whatever my age is.

At least I can say with confidence that I won't be having a midlife crisis. Mainly because I don't care about aging. It's just a number--in the grand scheme of things. You can't live your life going " Oh good God, I'm getting old--life sucks"--blah blah. You have to live every day and age to it's fullest. I mean if you let a number dictate your life and how you feel, you'll never get anywhere, ya know? |

That's the "today is the same as yesterday, only more so" version of a midlife crisis. With so many people though taking something (zoloft, lexapro, prozac, or whatever is being advertised these days) for depression or anxiety so they can function better, I wonder if they breeze right on past a midlife crisis without noticing it? Better living through applied pharmaceuticals... |

I'm 14, but I really wish I was older. Cause you see, everyone sees you like a baby, and a bratty one at that. Even if you aren't. Plus, it'd feel good to live alone, even though you'd have to work and stuff. But I mean, it can't be much worse than school

If you are male, you don't reach maturity until age 28.
I kid you not. In the meantime, enjoy the privilege of acting like a child and getting away with it. The only advantage I have of living alone is that I don't have to use headphones when watching porn...I use the full 5.1 surround sound. Other than that, paying bills really, really sucks. And I've messed up in the workplace a couple of times that there are certain people I actively avoid bumping into. Dang, everything's taken way too seriously. |

I'm 86. Turning 87 next month.
Just kidding. But really, what is there to say about your age? Besides the number. Other than that, there's not much to elaborate about. Physical age doesn't always reflect your mental or emotional age. I'm in the majority age group, though. ~ Noodlehead |

I'm 18, and life just keeps on getting better ^^ (cant wait till I hit that brick wall).
I'm actually likeing going 2 school atm, because I like the subject I'm following (Electrical Installations), it's active, challanging and intresting for me. Though, when I'm free, I'm quite bored most of the times, thats why I keep busy playing around with computers, MMO's and training for Ken-do. I love anime, but buying dvd's is very expencive, and I cant afford more then 2 a week (60$). And after watching them I dont realy feel like wathcing them again within the month. So I realy was in heaven when I discovered this site Although, I cant download over 25G because thats the max download cap that my network provider has. This week I had to pay my father to buy more upload and download space (have 9GB left). I've been looking for a network provider that allows unlimited downloads and uploads, but none are available near my village Guess I'll be blowing all my money on new dvd's from archonia now then |
