2 and then a 6 month wait for another 25. The other 25 counts a separate series, AFAIK.

Actually season 2 is composed of 27 episodes from what I've heard.

yeah, the total run is supposed to be 52 eps. which means s2 is 27 eps. its the same series, 2 seasons. stupid code geass (i'm going to get crucified for that one..) makes them break it up into 2. i hope it doesn't loose its luster with its months long hiatus

From what I can see, they split Gundam 00 into 2 series to keep the budget and the animation consistent. Not because of Code Geass.

I'm not so concerned about if season two is 25 or 27 episodes as much as I'm worried about the 6 MONTH wait for it to air. ;_; As much as I enjoy this show I hope there will be juicy plot leaks to maintain my interested in that period. >_<

well at least some people have code geass R2 to hold them off until Gundam 00 continues, which I'm one of them.

But I do have to say the long wait is annoying sometimes I wish they could play code geass R2 and Gundam 00 at the same time, but some how that would cause problems for some reason.

No. I'd consider all those as sequels of each other.

I'd call Gundam 00 in October as picking up where it left off. Let's see if it's called episode 26 or not.

I'd argue that Sunrise doesn't wanna alienate all the Code Geass fans, and doesn't wanna have to have its own series competing with each other.

I think the fact that in some official materials episode 25 is being called the "final episode" is already proof enough that the stuff in October is a second series, not a resumption of an unfinished series.

anyway....can't really wait for this ep....and also i don't think ali has died.....

when you see a mobile suit destroyed.....as long as you don't see the pilot inside the cockpit died.....you can't say that pilot died.....

that's what i learn from watching gundam series now
