Yeah, I like Aflame Inferno as well, it's not often you come across a strong male lead. Typically you'll have a weak male lead with a strong female lead who helps the male protagonist become stronger, with those kinds of factors it will make for a good story.

IDY isn't a bad author, he has potential. Perhaps with more time, Freezing will develop into a better story.

Yeah, Aflame Inferno is great, and that why it is still on halt, not got rush end like Onihime VS, UxU v.v... Hope "I'm Die Young" will continue it when Freezing is finished.

BTW, as I though before, Maria Lancer, Chiffon, may be Lucie also are part of project come from Nova to try to learn and communicate with human, but look like human is very greedy, use them as weapon to against Nova themself. Lucie said Maria is a medium, does it mean medium size Nova? Hope there will be small as fairy size Nova

Why did Kazuya Aoi did not answer his cousin's questions, why did he hesitate? The answer was clearly seen of his facial expressions. The author wanted to extend the mystery of it.

Most likely because he doesn't want her to worry. He is known for doing that. Plus, he probably hasn't organized what he saw. Anyway, Lucie is a real mystery now. Through this chapter, we know she is fluent in her words, so the whole "sister" declaration to Kazuya was most likely not a understatement or something in the immaterial bond sense. She may have a stigma body as well considering she forced a reaction with Kazuya.

Really, what is Gengo planning? If Kazuya was always meant to be important why does he have to find the answers on his own. He is supposed to be important to the Valkyries, yet he just meets them and apparently, they have been going through special training for years now. The pandora was Gengo's first project that he suggested even to be passed, but he seems to be abandoning it now for the other plan that he disregarded. He apparently was involved in the experimentation and training of these sisters, but they seem to come from different times as Kazuha came before Chiffon, but Chiffon seems to be in the same picture at the same age as she is now. Why was Gengo shocked to know Chiffon was in Alaska and was afraid of her if he was intrumental in her creation. If Kazuya was born of the same project, why is he the only male? So many questions, but few answers.

Anyways, what's up with the random power level boosts for side characters? Arnett was #4, but she was probably a lot weaker than Elizabeth. Now all of a sudden she's on par with Charles, who would have schooled Elizabeth without their limiters. Then there's Ticy, who doesn't seem very talented (from the prequel) and seems to only be able to be #3 because she works really hard and has a strong will to protect Chiffon. She probably wasn't that much stronger than Arnett before but now she's on a completely different level compared to everyone else (easily destroyed Arnett solo, and broke apart Arnett and Charles 1v2 without any effort). She can use Illusion Turn too, which only the Maria clones have been able to use so far.

Rana is also a weird character. From the plot perspective, she's pretty much useless. Her background doesn't seem to really tie in any way to the main plot. Somebody mentioned she was a Type-Maria, but nothing has progressed from that either. Her main role is really to be a rival to Satellizer in both love and combat, but there are PLENTY of candidates for both. She's really superfluous character that could be cut from the manga and it wouldn't be any different.

-ThEoNe- Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2011	Spoiler for Response and Ch.116: I still like the series and will always keep reading it regardless of how far downhill it goes, but the recent turns and lack of character development is really killing my interest in it. Not a huge fan of theory that Kazuya is genetically engineered/clone from Maria's DNA, but its more and more likely with the way things are being explained. And of course, when the opportunity arises for character development/relationship advancement it is put back on the back burner for another time. I think Young has a pretty solid cast of characters, but the development is just lacking/extremely slow and drawn out far too much. Really hoping this exercise moves the plot forward and gives us more of an idea to what Dr. Aoi is up to.
