I've been playing the demo, and I have to say, I like the game so far. The scheduling system isn't a radical change, but it seems to add a new level of interactivity. I'm thinking of ordering it, but it's $93 at Himeyashop, plus another 20 for shipping... There's no way I can justify that kind of money for one game, and when you add my limited at best japanese... Well I can hope Broccoli brings it over, but I doubt it'll happen...

Well, there's always the anime. I'm really looking foward to it now.

I have played the demo once, and all I can say that I like the tear system. Like Kamui4356 said, it brings new kind of interactivity to the game since you can immediately see how you are doing.
I didn't do very well, I made a bad decision and Katsura got five tear points.

I hope that they make a good anime version, this looks good.

This looks interesting--wondering if anyone has any more information on when the anime will air? It's listed as a spring 2007 series here ( http://www.andrewlb.com/fansub/pukiw...?Spring%202007 ), but can't find any mention of the anime series on the official website...

I've been waiting for someone to finally notice (besides me). I played the demo back then and really liked it. Hopefully news will be made available by the end of this month.

Sounds like a mild variation on some of the systems Alicesoft uses such as the heart colour/number system in Pastel Chime and the agonizing (What do I have to do to get to the next level) star point system from the likes of Dai Bancho and Sengoku Rance wherein where you are, what day it is, character stats, items, other characters ratings and just about anything you can think of affect whether you get the star point and the scene with the character.

And a Demo for an ADV game, wow that's kind of like getting the latest Harry Potter book and only 50 pages have text and the rest are blank.

Wow, I figured this was dead in the water. Can't say I recognize the character art at all though.

I was thinking the same thing, looking at the pics on the game's site and then the trailer, I didn't recognize anyone

At 1:34 in the trailer, after 2008 and the kanji for 'year', is that the kanji for 'winter'?

Kinda disappointed with the anime character designs as compared to the game (Yes, I bought and played a little of it). I was looking forward to seeing them in animated action until I watched the trailer. Oh well....After Polyphonica, I can't be expecting much either.

I played the demo too and I think this has a good potential, not that great but any drama/romance fan would like it. Although might be a typical harem but the characters are very nice! We just can't get enough of this kind of stuff, can we? Let's hope it doesn't get delayed further, I don't want to buy the game and babelfish it

I was wondering what happened to this series. I saw it listed for early 08 on moonphase, but I had a bad feeling it would be another one of those shows that never actually gets made. Great to see they're finally doing it.

Edit: I don't recognize any of those girls in the site's pic... Even the uniform looks different. Looks like a lot of changes got made in the year of limbo.

It's an original story featuring what appears to be a new cast of characters.

Maybe this is part of the relaunch for the tears series and La'Cryma? Broccoli and Circus aren't giving up on their venture just yet.

Makes sense. With the original game, this anime, and their new game, looks like they're trying to turn this into some sort of a franchise. It'll be interesting to see if the different stories connect to each other in the game worlds, or if it's only a connection by theme/style. Anyway, time will tell...
