Kinda strange way to conclude the show imo. I hope they announce another cour in the future although I did enjoy the second half of this season quite a bit.

From what I understand they're split couring it. Hopefully a more dedicated subbing group will pick up the second half. We may be lucky to get the rest of this season subbed the way this is going.

Yep, that was the other fight I was looking forward to beside the Corona vs Einhart fight.

It did sound like a split cour from what they were saying at the very end.

To be fair...it is a bit of a weird place to end it. But I can appreciate getting the aftermath of Einhart vs Corona and setting up for the next fights. Geeze...I was looking forward to those fights and now it will be a bit of a wait.

Spoiler for Ep12:

It was a good episode. I'm actually quite proud of Corona for being such a rock after her match. Of course losing hurt and there was a sadness at not being able to overcome Einhart, she didn't break either. She had a good support group around her and can take this experience and move forward with it. Otto will keep on helping her and I think this match will be a major part of her growth going forward. She was able to see what worked and didn't and focused on her style in the match.

Not surprising it was Einhart who was more down than anyone. The reality of a competition was thrown into her face. The winner gets to move ahead and the loser has to deal with the feelings that build up due to one's defeat. In the end she could hardly be down when Corona was going so far to keep her mood up. Plus she hardly has time to relax considering who her next opponent is.

The one real downside here is that we won't get to see Vivio vs Miura any time soon. I do want to see that matchup most because we know what these two are capable of. How their styles collide will be interesting to see.

Lutecia's one-sided fight was fun and clearly that other girl is pretty creepy. Wouldn't want to try and fight someone like that.

It's a wait now for whenever the second part arrives, but will look forward to it.

During the end card they mention an "interval", as in an intermission between matches, as in a break before it comes back.

So yeah, 2nd season incoming.

Be nice if it was literally an interval. Like how Ace of the Diamond took like a week off between it's first and second 'seasons' .

But, my guess is maybe something like coming back in Fall or Winter.

I saw the announcement couple of weeks ago but than I checked today, it was removed. So I don't know what to think now.

Still I think it will be strange to not publish the discs at all. It's not some extremely unpopular series. Probably some meddling with rights.

I wonder, are "Fear" Spells, and Illusions intended to mess with your opponent's mind valid, legal moves in the tournament? I won't be surprised if it's borderline legal.

They actually added something that wasn't in the manga, what madness is this!?

Fabia is a very interesting addition for expanding the scope of the series' magic if nothing else. I don't think we've been given a name for her magic system or seen her magic colour and circle, if she even has one. Hope they'll show her transformation, if the anime gets that far. She's definitely the queen of fighting dirty and the only one that actually wins against people with greater attack power than her own. She has enough hacks to probably beat any of the other contestants in a "fair" fight. Her eyes look terrible though, whoever drew them should be fired immediately.

Of course they clearly don't give a damn about competitive balance, with the rules favouring heavily armed and armoured, elemental bombardment or flying types over pure martial artists. And why are her familiars allowed in the ring, but permanent summons are not?

Also, if Fabia can do that, how come she never does it again? Cause that seems like something you'd want to use all the time, especially since you can't exactly dodge psychic attacks.
