Should it though? I'm not sure what the translation Mashima uses is for Yukino's sister. Sorano/Solano isn't a japanese name from what I know, meaning it's foreign. Now, the name then could be either Sorano or Solano, but both would translate into katakana reading "sorano", even if that's not the original spelling.
Though it could be Sorano and it was a misspelling, not sure.

Well, Yukino could translate to "Of Snow." Solano doesn't translate into anything, but Sorano does ("Of Sky"), which is why I believe Sorano is the correct spelling.

The name is sorano that's straight from the manga scene when lucy is talking to Yukino as for the Solano remember that in English translations R and L can get switched sometimes soundwise a perfect example is Lucario and Rucario if they're said its about the same but the written is slightly different as for the episode. Its pretty much straightforward but man Erzas outfit looks great animated.
As for an interesting twist regarding Yukino's sister this is just for fun but if it has to be deleted fine

I skipped all the fillers for Fairy Tail so I'm not sure how bad they looked back then, but this second episode of the new season had a lot of QUALITY moments, more so than about any of the past non-filler episode. Even the extended Erza vs 100 monsters battle looked better, and that was anime-original padding on a scene that was not drawn in the manga.

I was fine with the previous episode though. I just hope their budget didn't go to the gutter with the new season (or that they blew it all on the previous episode).

Grand magic games continue.
Damn, I almost forgot about that.
This new animation sometimes makes the character look flat.
Wonder why they decided to change animation style..
Time travel (Eclipse project) finally made its way into this anime.
After those parallel worlds I was hoping they would explore this option as well.
Natsu got into trouble again. His stubbornness was his downfall.
Fairy Tail just got seriously motivated.
Fast forward to the final day of Grand Magic Games was definitely rushed.
It's like they wanted to end it to start a new arc.
I'm not too happy about that fact.

I wasn't a fan of this episode, because THE animation was so gritty, but I'm assuming they're saving up for the fights later?

How was it rushed, its following the manga perfectly from what I see.

My memory is a bit hazy, but didn't the manga say there was a day of rest in between? I'm not sure if the anime said that.

^The day they went to the Dragon's Graveyard where they also met Arcadios was that day of rest. Mira says so in episode 176. I guess it wasn't too evident because of the anime's long break after the Dragon Slayer match.

in the latest episode ,the animation and art was so poor, at some points it looked like a children's cartoon. Gajeel, happy, carla, lily their designs are so horrible. The art is fine only at close ups, in an entire scene where the character is shown completely the art is so bad and this animation is as if they have just pasted the picture of the character into the scene, there is no shadowing or proper outlining and drawing.

i don't understand why are they degrading the quality, i thought the break was to develop the series on all the aspects, but clearly they have degraded their quality.
without a doubt i can say the animation of the previous series was much better than this one, it even had special effects for fire and special energy or aura.

please please please for heaven's sake i hope the battles are made nicely.

about the story its moving quite fast now, but they shouldn't just jump from one plot to another directly leave some space to breathe.

Animation this episode was horrendous. Faces and bodies were seriously distorted. They better improve it.

Well the anime again proved 2 things. 1. Mira is one of the hottest girl in FT (my favorite is lisanna but mira is banging). 2. The animators for FT now how to draw women cause Hisui looks gorgeous. Stil this is getting good the fights are gonna be great so lets see what happens

Fairy Tail in the lead, but Sabertooth is breathing down their necks.
It too close for comfort.
But with their motivation I don't doubt Fairy Tail at all.
Fairy Tail's strategy was weird to say the least.
That goes both for final battle and the rescue operation!
Number One was awesome this time.
Her tactics were amazing and spot on too!
The rescue part went sideways though.
Well, not everything can go their way.
Great episode!
