What is a good site with which I can translate Japanese websites. It is mainly to know the content on the basics. I would use Google Translate but somehow it keeps telling me the website host is not secure or the link is not one they can translate and thus it doesn't work.

Does anyone know any service with to make websites/ or a place where I can ask someone (freelancers) to make a website for me?

You can PM me if you know any website designers personally.

There's another way to use Google Translate.

Right Click + Translate Page to English

This only works in Chrome, I think.

I don't use Chrome but like said google translate will not load the page because it thinks it is unsafe. When it is not.

Get a server. Get a domain. Find some way to attract a community.

Coding a forum from scratch is also not that hard and you'll have the advantage of being able to have full control over how it looks. That being said, as far as anime forums go, I've seen next to none that were done proper when it came to custom jobs, so probably just stick to a commercial solution.

Recommend XenForo (payed) or phpBB (free). Please DONT USE Vanilla for your forums.

Though to be frank, forum software hasn't evolved one bit. It's just as clumsy as it was in early 2000. Especially true for vBulletin.

Is Japan really taking a whole week off from broadcasting anime just because it's New Years? I mean they had anime on Christmas Eve but not on New Years .. wtf? Just askin' because AnimeCalendar lists all days up till Saturday as if they didn't have anything on.

You do realize that "Chrismas Eve" is a christian/western tradition right?

Well in your defense I've heard stupider versions of this over the years, like some guy was making the same complaint only used thanksgivings or whatever its called; so I guess its a pretty common misconception since nobody really thinks of the meaning behind the holidays these days, it's all just free time (I don't either mind you).

What do you call those horns being blown by medieval Japanese armies during a war?

It seems that ship stranded in the arctic is going to be evacuated. So what are they getting everyone off and leave the ship there? Or some skeleton crew will stay there till the ship gets freed?

Two options.

1. Rescue everyone and leave the ship.
2. Bring supplies and wait for the ice to melt.^^
3. Evacuate some, leave some new supplies, wait for an ice breaker ship.

Edit: Oh nvm... The crew of 22 are staying in the ship. I thought they were going all abandon it.

Windows XP can't install the drivers for Nexus 7? How do I do this?

It seems I'm not the only one, too...
