Finally done... this was a terrible drama cd to work with.
The only way it could have been worse was to be like the very first Nanoha drama cd, ie having water monsters strip the bathing suits off of 10 year old girls.

Fate: That was fast! As always, Vivio replies to her texts so quickly.
Nanoha: We all had ours at the cafeteria. After a quick break, we are going to train again. I’ll do my best! Is what she replied.

Nanoha: The practice at her training camp is tough but she seems to be enjoying herself

Agito: Wow, how nostalgic. The second movie really moved me
Nanoha: That movie really impressed Agito, didn’t it?
Agito: That’s a given. I got to see it visually; the childhood of Nanoha-san, Fate-san, the various happenings of Meister, Signum, the others, and the… previous Reinforce as opposed to just hearing about it.
Rein: It would be great if Thoma and others would take something away from the movie.
Hayate: Yeah. The time when I met my family… The time when I met Nanoha-chan, Fate-chan, Arisa-chan, Suzuka-chan. And the time when I met her whom I had so many gently memories with and the magic she gave me…I really treasure those precious times.
Rein: Yeah.
Fate: It was a time where I changed my surname and the time when I met my older sister in my dreams amongst other events.
Nanoha: It feels like it happened so long ago.
Rein: Eins’s remaining wish is for Hayate-chan and the others to lead a happy life. To those who had gone through that incident to have happiness despite leading busy lives every day. As the 2nd generation, it’s always on my mind.
Hayate: And you’ve been giving it your all.
Nanoha: When you remember things back then, it makes you want to fly the night skies again.
Fate: We were flying mostly at night back then.
Hayate: Why don’t we go back to that flight area where Vivio and everyone could see the night skyline. We should ask Vivio, her friends, Thoma and the others as well.
Nanoha: That sounds great.
Rein: That’s a great idea.
Hayate: Though, in order to do that, we have to properly take care of any unfinished business/affairs/the case first. Let’s make it the place to go after Section 6 has done its duty and disbanded.
Fate: I’ll do my best to swiftly resolve this case.

Lily: It was great that we got to talk to Signum and the others about lots of things.
Thoma: Yeah, I thought 1st Lieutenant Signum and Instructor Vita would be scary focused co-workers, but they have another side to them.
Isis: Yeah.
Vita: Man that Signum said some strange things, made me remember stuff… Are you watching us up in the sky, Reinforce? Despite being so busy, Hayate and all of us are happy. And I’m doing fine, standing tall and proud. So you don’t have to worry about a thing and just wait for us. Right now, I don’t think any of us is heading your way. Right then, time to get back to work!
Thoma: Year 82, new calendar. The world might be busy/chaotic but people are living their lives while giving their all. Being chosen unexpectedly by destiny/fate, being protected and saved by kind people, and being toyed with by the harshness of reality. There are so many things going on but even so, in order to secure victory for today and tomorrow, I’m sure everyone is doing their best/giving it their all. (bad translation)

Vivio: (background: So the Middle school today is… *can’t hear the rest*) This is Einhart Stratos-san, she is a first year middle school student of my school and a fellow practitioner of battle magic/Strike Arts and teammate. She’s so strong and cool, she’s the oldest in our team and the strongest.

Thoma: Year 82 of the new calendar, on one of many gateway dimensional worlds such as Midchilda, a great many incidents are happening. (alt trans: Various incidents are happening in the dimension of Mid-Childa.) On one such a world, I, Thoma Avenir, became drawn into the Eclipse Case/Incident while on a trip. After meeting up with people, fighting battles against them and experiencing many other events, I am now, with my friends and partner by my side, a trainee currently with the Special Investigation 6th Division. Today, the three of us are accompanying the Commander’s aide, Meister Reinforce Zwei, for a little work outside.
Rein: It seems that Thoma and Lily have gotten used to the work now.
Thoma: Thank you Master Rein.
Lily: But we still have quite a way to go.
Rein: Isis has gotten used to creating/consolidating documents too.
Isis: You really think so?
Rein: I do, so have you three gotten familiar with Section Six now?
Lily: We’re mostly getting along with everyone in the office.
Thoma: And besides, most of the forward team consists of people we know already.
Rein: That’s true. It’s important to have a smooth relationship for work and personal situations.

Rein: But, it really takes me back. It’s a little over two years now? Just about when Hayate-chan decided to let her hair grow out. It was a much more peaceful time when everyone had the time to talk about the movie enthusiastically/without worries. I wonder in what album we put those pictures in?

Hayate: Well, I’ve got to recover and hurry back to work/investigation, so listening to Dr. Shamal’s advice is best. I am also a combatant for the Special Investigation 6th Division. I can’t just sit/glue myself to my desk all day.
Shamal: That is true. Fortunately, there’s a lull from these incidents at this moment. In order to tackle these incidents with your full strength, you need to rest your tired mind and heal your injured body.
Hayate: Yes ma’am.
Shamal: Please return home instead of resting in the office’s sleep/nap room, got it? With both Rein-chan and Agito-chan, too.
Hayate: Understood ma’am.
Signum: Well then, I shall take my leave as well.

Hayate: If I leave them alone, they start neglecting their health and eat any old thing. If Agito and Rein were with them, it would be better but today the two of them are here with me.
Fate: I know what you mean. I don’t think Erio and Caro are the type to start neglecting their health but I feel uneasy when I start thinking about whether they have something that’s troubling them.
Nanoha: As for Vivio… well…
Hayate: She’s an athlete, so she’s more than able to take care of her own health.
Fate: And Chris is with her all the time.
Nanoha: But you know, I really feel uneasy if I don’t hear her voice at least once every day.
Fate: Well, when Vivio was small, she really stuck close to her mama.
Hayate: And now she’s a middle school student and (alt trans: National level) athlete competing at the national level. Compared to her days at Mobile Section 6, when she couldn’t get up again by herself when she fell, she’s grown immensely/tremendously since then.

Signum: With all four of us being here, it reminds me of the past.
Shamal: Past? You mean before we met Hayate-chan or afterwards?
Signum: Both, I think. Remembering how Eins liked to gaze at the starry sky. And how I always accompanied Meister Hayate to the garden because she wanted to look up at the stars in the sky when she was young.
Zafira: And when she was finally able to ride my back, I would accompany her too.
Shamal: And from fourth grade onward, she would go see the cherry blossoms… Where the previous Reinforce rests.
Vita: She didn’t have much free time to watch the stars since the second generation (Rein) needed a lot attention after she was born. (bad translation) Well then, I’m full. Heading back now.

Signum: If we had not met Meister Hayate, we would have continued our endless existence/journey/wanderings and perhaps had been destroyed together with the Book of Darkness.

Isis: Thoma ended up meeting Lily and followed by Silver Cross.
Lily: Thoma and me just happened to met with Isis while travelling.
Thoma: And from then onwards, we ended up travelling as a group. I guess you could call it ‘fate bound to a magical tome’.
Silver Cross: Requesting correction/Permission to correct. I, the Silver Cross, am not a magical tome. I am an EC reactor, a terminal that regulates operational controls and armaments.
Thoma: So detail oriented/nit picky…
Lily: That might be so but let’s just call you a magical tome, shall we.
Silver Cross: Request approved/acknowledged. From now onwards, ‘magical tome’ will be used as a general identifier.
Signum: It’s an interesting book, as always.
Thoma: It’s a troubles me to be with a book with so many objections.
Lily: But to Thoma and me, she is very precious to us.
Isis: You like me as well don’t you, Silver Cross?
Silver Cross: The protector of the Driver as well as the Reactor Plug is confirmed/recognized. Genuine desire to protect.
Zafira: I see, you are protecting them as well aren’t you.
Isis: Yup Zaffy. Mind if I touch your tail?
Zafira: Only for a little while.
Thoma: We heard from Master/Instructor Rei-, I mean Commander’s Aide Rein, that there’s a movie depicting the story of Commander Yagami and your past.
Signum: That’s right. Although, it’s not just about us but also about 1st Lieutenant Takamachi and Enforcer/Executive Officer Fate too.
Shamal: The Book of Darkness and us, a profound event/incident that changed it to the Tome of the Night Sky.
Lily: Um, Commander Yagami’s tome is ‘The Tome of the Night Sky’ while Commander Aide Rein’s tome is ‘The Tome of the Azure Sky’, is it not?
Signum: That Tome of the Night Sky in the past was once called the Book of Darkness, it was a dangerous Lost Logia.
Lily: Lost Logia?
Thoma: Ah, you could say Lost Logia are like an ancient relic from another dimension.
Isis: We use it to define dangerous item that our current technologies can’t control or replicate.
Lily: I see.
Signum: It’s much like Commander Yagami with the Lost Logia ‘the Book of Darkness’, Thoma, your chance encounter with the Eclipse and the “Book of the Silver Cross’ was not entirely of your own choosing.
Thoma: Yes.
Zafira: Have you ever given any thought on how different your life would be like had you not encountered the Eclipse?
Thoma: I haven’t really thought of it.
Lily: If I hadn’t been saved by Thoma, I would have died. It would have been a ‘bad end’ to my life.
Isis: Whoa, L-Lily, don’t feel so down. Hey Zaffy, 1st Lieutenant Signum, please don’t ask such uncomfortable questions.
Zafira: My apologies.
Signum: But it’s also the same for us. If we had not been saved, the five of us would have been destroyed and disappeared/erased somewhere.
Thoma: The five of you?
Shamal: Me, Signum, Vita-chan, Zafira and finally Reinforce.
Lily: I see! Including Meister/Instructor Rein as a family right?
Shamal: Oh, it’s not Rein-chan but her predecessor, Reinforce Eins.
Signum: The five of us met with Commander Yagami and were redeemed by her but Reinforce sacrificed herself and passed on in order to save us and Commander Yagami who was 9 years old at the time.
Shamal: Ah, sorry about that! It was something that happened long ago. We were sad that she passed on but we accept her wishes and move on by living each day with purpose. That is what we all decided upon.
Thoma: Yeah…
Signum: That is all we wanted to say. As one follows a path that destiny has selected, do you ever wonder about a different life?… That is all that we wished to ask.
Thoma: Um, well, to be honest, for me, I’ve already had plenty of experiences that differs from the life I lead now. Even if I was treated kindly by Su-chan and found happiness; I’m sure I would have continued life with a part of me still depressed/holding the seeds of unhappiness. I don’t think I am particularly unfortunate right now. And it still seems to me that I am a totally different person and have pride when I am leading my life as an Eclipse Driver and striving to become stronger. When I think about it that way, I have no interest in living in any other way. (bad translation)
Zaifra: I see.
Isis: Well, if it weren’t for me and Lily rescuing you, you probably would have died while activating the Eclipse Zero. That would have been a real ‘bad end’.
Thoma: I told you already, I’m really grateful and thankful to you about it.

Fate: Indeed, the Yagami family cooking.
Rein: Oh, how embarrassing.
Agito: Please make yourself comfortable while I bring out the after dinner tea.
Rein: We also have some imported/specially ordered black tea too.
Fate: Thank you.
Hayate: Ah, I need to return those books I borrowed from you, Nanoha. Let me go and get them.
Nanoha: Okay! Ah, it’s time to text to Vivio.
From Mama, I had my dinner over at Hayate-chan’s home. Have you had your dinner yet? Oh, she replied.
Fate: That was fast! As always, Vivio replies to her texts so quickly.
Nanoha: We all had ours at the cafeteria. After a quick break, we are going to train again. I’ll do my best! Is what she replied.
Fate: She seems happy.
Nanoha: The practice at her training camp is tough but she seems to be enjoying herself
Fate: Yes.
Nanoha: Erio and Caro are still working aren’t they?
Fate: Yes they are. I just got an email from them just now, telling me to please make sure I eat my meals and take a rest.
Nanoha: Now someone’s worrying about Fate-chan rather than the other way around.
Fate: I replied saying it should be all right since I’m with Nanoha and Hayate. And they replied with ‘then we don’t have anything to worry about then’.
Hayate: Nanoha-chan, Fate-chan, I found something that’s really nostalgic! Take a look!

Hayate: Rein and Agito, take a look too.

Agito: Wow this brings back some good memories! Even though it’s only been 2 years since then.

Nanoha: These sure bring back memories, don’t they?
Fate: This is when Hayate just started to let her hair grow longer, isn’t it?
Nanoha: It’s been a long while since these photos were taken, weren’t they?
Agito: Hey, I took that didn’t I? The one where Meister and Rein decided upon their poses.
Hayate: I’m really fond of this photo.
Rein: I remembered about this photo in the afternoon. Thoma and the others wanted to know more about Hayate-chan and the others. So I told them to watch the movie.
Hayate: Is that so?
Rein: Unexpectedly, they might just watch it in their rooms after finishing their work.
Agito: Wow, how nostalgic. The second movie really moved me
Nanoha: That movie really impressed Agito, didn’t it?
Agito: That’s a given. I got to see it visually; the childhood of Nanoha-san, Fate-san, the various happenings of Meister, Signum, the others, and the… previous Reinforce as opposed to just hearing about it.
Rein: It would be great if Thoma and others would take something away from the movie.
Hayate: Yeah. The time when I met my family… The time when I met Nanoha-chan, Fate-chan, Arisa-chan, Suzuka-chan. And the time when I met her whom I had so many gently memories with and the magic she gave me…I really treasure those precious times.
Rein: Yeah.
Fate: It was a time where I changed my surname and the time when I met my older sister in my dreams amongst other events.
Nanoha: It feels like it happened so long ago.
Rein: Eins’s remaining wish is for Hayate-chan and the others to lead a happy life. To those who had gone through that incident to have happiness despite leading busy lives every day. As the 2nd generation, it’s always on my mind.
Hayate: And you’ve been giving it your all.
Nanoha: When you remember things back then, it makes you want to fly the night skies again.
Fate: We were flying mostly at night back then.
Hayate: Why don’t we go back to that flight area where Vivio and everyone could see the night skyline. We should ask Vivio, her friends, Thoma and the others as well.
Nanoha: That sounds great.
Rein: That’s a great idea.
Hayate: Though, in order to do that, we have to properly take care of any unfinished business/affairs/the case first. Let’s make it the place to go after Section 6 has done its duty and disbanded.
Fate: I’ll do my best to swiftly resolve this case.
Nanoha: Yeah.
Rein: For the time being, we can always go out to the garden to look at the star filled sky. Want to go out to the garden with some warm team in hand?
All: Sure!
Agito: All right then, start preparations, Rein!
Rein: Got it!
Lily: It was great that we got to talk to Signum and the others about lots of things.
Thoma: Yeah, I thought 1st Lieutenant Signum and Instructor Vita would be scary focused co-workers, but they have another side to them.
Isis: Yeah.
Vita: Man that Signum said some strange things, made me remember stuff… Are you watching us up in the sky, Reinforce? Despite being so busy, Hayate and all of us are happy. And I’m doing fine, standing tall and proud. So you don’t have to worry about a thing and just wait for us. Right now, I don’t think any of us is heading your way. Right then, time to get back to work!
Thoma: Year 82, new calendar. The world might be busy/chaotic but people are living their lives while giving their all. Being chosen unexpectedly by destiny/fate, being protected and saved by kind people, and being toyed with by the harshness of reality. There are so many things going on but even so, in order to secure victory for today and tomorrow, I’m sure everyone is doing their best/giving it their all. (bad translation)

Finally done... this was a terrible drama cd to work with.
The only way it could have been worse was to be like the very first Nanoha drama cd, ie having water monsters strip the bathing suits off of 10 year old girls.
I know which tracks will not be re-read now

And thans for the hard work Nagumo. I know writing about the Wolks was a painfull experience for you but i really enjoyed this CD-drama, even if it's a bit too corny at times xD!
...i'll be waiting for the next work featuring some love for the Wolkenritter xD

...9 years ago, the day after never would be the same
The two Gears of Destiny Drama CDs are up, I just listened to a bit of the first one to verify it.
After listining to both of them I think the one with the Materials interacting with the StrikerS cast is the better one if for nothing else than the long chat between Hayate and Dearche. and it has more comedy gold moments than the GoD X A's 2nd CD.
