I guess it is still continued, since the latest WN chapter (chap 23 now) is released this 3 April 2016. A good thing, indeed.

I tried reading the WN before, but a good part of the second volume wasn't available via time machine.

Instead of looking for the chs from the main page, write the number in the url.
While main page was not saved some of vol 2 chs (some you dont see on the main page) were saved.
By using webarchive on pdf link i managed to get up to vol 3.
Now checking if i can save individually the chs of vol 4.

Definitely a good read, there are few isekai or tensei stories that feature a female protagonist that are actually well written. I actually prefer the manga's style compared to the light novel since it actually fits their age, making them all the more adorable. I mean, they are only 6 years old for crying out loud, but the light novels makes them seem look more mature and older than they are.

This story sounds really interesting, but I'll wait until the characters are older before I dive in. I don't like reading about kids.

Huh. 25 chapters seems a bit short for a web novel..

It is not 25 chs. It is 5 full vols.
Author deletes everything once in a while(you can thank alphapolis once again for their stupid marketing)

So apparently something happens in volume 2 with some idiot nobles. Does anybody want to explain what exactly does happen?

I think it was some idiot nobles pushing MC 's childhood friend off a cliff and MC saves him by flying and almost dying in the process since it was her first time and didnt know how to land.

Basically.

During the outdoor lesson, Gai is beckoned by the noble children, a pair of twins I believe, who shared resentment against Gai and Mira due to their lowly birth and sponsorship of the Royal Family. So, they lure Gai to a cliff and give him an unreasonable test to land at the bottom of the cliff unhurt using his Fire affinity. He gets cornered and falls off accidentally all the while Mira witnesses all this at the very last second. She goes to save Gai by summoning Rufi (Sylphy) to fly to him as quickly as possible, in turn causing the spirit to mature into its adult form similar to Guno (Gnome).

The rest is Mira saving Gai in the end, but she develops a fear of heights because of the incident.

She can't even go down stairs without someone holding her hands. Poor girl.
