Yeah, Shoboi added TBS a few hours after my post (note the update time in the right-hand column). Their listings will be a moving target over the next month, but in general I've found the site a useful resource.

This doesn't look like a great season to me, even for winter, but there are four shows in my list of most-anticipated new anime:

* Fractale – Yamamoto Yutaka is enough of a draw, but adding his idea of creating an anime that appeals to more than otaku, and his threat to quit anime if he doesn't succeed, makes this even more of a must-watch, for me.
* Hourou Musuko – I like Shimura Takako's mangas, including this one, and find gender confusion pretty interesting in general.
* Mahou Shoujou Madoka Magica – Shinbou's magical girl show, with music by Kajiura Yuki and starring Yuuki Aoi.
* Moshidora –"What If the Female Manager of a High School Baseball Team Had Read Drucker's 'Management'?" An anime about management, aimed at men and women in their 30s and 40s, created for NHK and Production IG by the director and writer of Beast Player Erin. For me, that's a lot to like.

I have done a blog post with full info about 22 new shows, including staff, cast, story, trailer, and starting day and time. Also links to manga scanlations, where available.

I'd watch Mitsudomoe for sure.... heck.. first season got me laughing all the way to the final episode. Kimitodo is another that i'd be watching. I'll probably watch the first few episodes of hourou musuko, freezing and beelzebub just to see if they're as good as the manga.

This season, like the last, is filled with things I actually want to watch.

I feel that anime producers are making up for the last year and a half of mediocrity.

Dragon-moe, zombie-moe, elementary school-moe, gothic lolita-moe, moe from Gainax and Shaft, Cthulhu-moe, imouto-moe...

Never has Anime been more varied. Look at that, there's moe for everyone!

Hmm... not many shows I'm really looking forward to this season.

Kimi ni Todoke - first one was done extremely well. Have high hopes for this

Mitsudomoe - first season was pretty funny, in a Kyou no Go no Ni kind of way. Want more lol

Starry Sky - shows based on otome games have a bad rep with me, but considering main heroine has not one but two osananajimi LIs among the group, can't let this pass

Infinite Stratos - shipping reasons aside, I really need my mecha fix for this season.

Onii-chan no Koto - probably the show I'm looking forward to the most. Can't beat when the two main heroines are technically osananajimi lol

Series that I have a good chance of liking...

Fractale - please don't let this be as boring as Sora no Woto, as I like the animator's art quality

Gosick - heard good things about the source, plus I like Bones a lot when it comes to mystery

Yumeiru Merry - I love JC staff, and that alone is going to make me more likely to finish this lol

Beelzebub - I think I read a volume or two about this. Always had a soft spot for shows about raising a kid like Usagi drops or Aishiteruze Baby, and this being more fantastic won't let me stop watching it

Horou Musuko - the manga is good no doubt. Just that I read pretty far into the scans that I don't think the anime will be covering any new ground for me

Mahou Shoujo Madoka - Shaft doing a mahou shoujo anime? That's certainly interesting.

Houkago no Pleiades - Gainax looks to be doing what seems to be a moe anime? Hopefully they turn it on its ear like so much of their other stuff

I've made a website-version of these charts at http://anicharts.com.

I had originally posted it somewhere else but apparently the link has to go in this thread rather than its own. If anyone commented on it, I never saw the comment, sorry. I guess PM me anything you want to see on it so this thread doesn't go off-topic.

Enjoy.

Here is fucked up anticipation list from Anime-one.
http://animapple.blogspot.com/2010/1...anking-by.html

As you see, Starry Sky is on top with the power of fujoushi which is equivalent of that of thousand suns. This list more has to do with TV rating than actual purchase power, so DVD/BD sales have nothing to do with this list. (Last fall season, Arakawa Under the BridgexBridge was on the 3rd place in the same survey, but it obviously won't do any better than the first season.)

Kimi ni Todoke 2, obviously.

Gosick looks good. I'll definitely check it out.

Hourou Musuko has an interesting premise and I really like its animation style from what I see in the trailer. My hopes are high for this one.
